For the long winter evenings, see "Knickers Galore! – The Memoirs of a ‘Psychopath’" a true story about the making of a transvestite, still available on the net.

Good news for common sense came in as Canada’s Professor Tom Koch, supremo of the Canadian Down Syndrome Society, estimated that, by recent times, no less than 90% of Mongol foetuses were being aborted (Sunday Telegraph, 19 xii). This situation contrasted handsomely with that of 1965, when just about 0% of said foetuses were aborted and parents were allowed to plough on into lifetimes of misery.

(Of course, the good prof. himself did not like this a bit, believing that modern welfare states were providing more and more opportunities for the employment of Mongols and for their providing endless job creation programmes for leftists and hangers-on....)

Further good news: The entire DNA profile of an unborn child was mapped from the blood of its mother for the first time in a breakthrough (at the Chinese University of Hong Kong) that could allow parents to safely check for a host of genetic and inherited disorders.

After a year which I had campaigned semi-tirelessly for electoral pacts between Liberals, Libertarians and Nationalists (in line with my Palmerstonian National-Liberal agenda, respecting both society and the individual), a liberal-conservative coalition had in fact survived six months in office and was moving towards at least an informal electoral pact re the Oldham East by-election in January – with Daft Dave telling his troops to stop leafleting and Virtuous Vince announcing on telly that the constituency would be a two-horse race (between Liberals and Labour – so Conservatives should vote Liberal).

Admittedly, CamCo had not produced any IQ-respecting or PC-disrespecting policies; but at least it looked capable of keeping Labour spendthrifts out of office for the rest of my life, so I would not leave still more debts to the young (apart from the High Speed London-Birmingham-E’bro rail link to which CamCo had become committed, perhaps as the only way of maintaining realistic British engineering and organizational skills).

Hope that Britain could mend its 140-year rift with Germany emerged as Prince Harry was seen to be enchanted (at charity cavortings in Berlin) by a stunning young German actress, Sophia Thomalla (Sun, 20 xii; Daily Mail, 20 xii).

As Britain’s trade unions (led by overweight potato-faced Irishmen with names like Brendan) limbered up to take on the Government over anything they could think of, they found themselves opposed by the Guardian (20 xii), which concluded: “Mr McCluskey's* priority ought to be to reach out to these people [who do not approve of increasing government deficits], showing he understands their lives and looking for innovative ways of addressing their anxieties. Instead, like a true Bourbon, he sadly sounds as if he stopped thinking in 1979. What a waste.”

* “We must join students in a broad strike movement to combat attempts to strangle the welfare state.”

Sweet multiculti-loving playwright Alan Bennett (author of ‘The History Boys’) admitted (in the left-leaning London Review of Books) that he had been conned by two “Italian-looking” women (i.e. gypsies) into taking off his jacket so they could ‘remove ice cream’ – resulting in them removing an envelope containing £1.5K which he had just withdrawn from his bank, and in his experiencing a sharp reduction in his trust in ‘the kindness of strangers.’

I recall quipping to the returning 100 students of Psychology II , back in post-New Year 1980, of Britain’s “strangely timed and unduly prolonged festive season.”

Unheedingly, the madness went on, with people (encouraged by bargain-basement airfares) believing they could re-unite their fractured families with journeys at the coldest time of year (or otherwise jet off from lacklustre Thiefrow Airport to sunnier climes).

Probably most of these dupes believed in ‘global warming.’ Anyway, pre-Christmas 2010 the snow closed in – a mere 4 inches being sufficient to close Scotland’s major Glasgae-Ebro highway, London’s Heathrow, and the Ebro-London mainline. Socialism, bureaucracy or capitalism looking after you? Forgeddit!

The long-awaited book by UCL’s Emeritus Prof. of Media Law Eric Barendt, "Academic Freedom and the Law: A Comparative Study", having ‘THE CHRIS BRAND CASE’ as its final chapter, emerged in paperback (Oxford : Hart Publishing [‘Good books for lawyers’], pp. 218; available from Amazon at £35).

From what I last saw in draft* of the chapter concerning me, Prof.Barendt was inclined to conclude, de facto, that there was no ‘academic freedom’ left in Britain unless an academic buttered up his colleagues -- though Barendt did not see it as his business to argue with this state of affairs. The chapter was quite properly concerned with legalistic niceties of how eminently reasonable it was for academics to be got rid of for upsetting their colleagues...;

but it entirely ignored the academic and political issues at stake – the very favourable 1996 reviews of The g Factor in Nature, New Scientist and Personality & Individual Differences were not mentioned, nor was the left’s six-month struggle to suppress me (culminating in police advising closure of a debate just off Princes Street for fear of violence from the ‘Anti-Nazi League’ and in noisy leftists invading and closing a seminar I tried to give in E.LU.Psychology).

Even on the legal issues, the chapter missed what was E.LU.’s key argument: that a university had no more obligation to defend the speech of an academic than did United Biscuits (expressly cited) to continue employment for an operative exposed as being in the BNP; and it missed what was E.LU. key technique: to refuse to call witnesses that I requested (notably jurist Provost Neil McCormick, who would presumably have stood by his Inquiry that had cleared me in the summer of 1996).

It was at least good that Prof. Barendt had provided an appreciative 15-page summary of the legal drama of THE CHRIS BRAND CASE, for the University of Edinburgh itself had actually by 2008 (in its shame) obliterated – as told to inquirers under the Freedom of Information Act -- all records of how it had spent £100K to castigate me (after my 26 years of unblemished, prestige-publishing and high-citation-earning service), ‘inquire’ into me, tribunalize me, get rid of me (with the help of a High Court judge, a neighbour of Principal Dame Stewart Sutherland) and finally compensate me (once it had Texan multi-millionaire Jim Woodhill come at it.}

* The chapter began: “The dismissal of Chris Brand from his Lectureship at Edinburgh University in 1997 was one of the most controversial, and unhappy, episodes in the history of British universities in the post-war period.”

Hysteria about ‘racism’ reached the top of the BBC as Lord Melvyn Bragg found himself accused of the dread sin by a female professorette, Pat Hudson, called to his weekly 9 a.m. radio programme to discuss the causes of the Industrial Revolution (23 xii). After Lord Melvyn mentioned the well known fact that 18th-century British genius had produced a lot of engineering inventions (steam engine, spinning jenny, flying Arbuckle, canary etc.) found his idea denounced as racist.

So shocked was he that he spent the rest of the programme trying to get his own back (table-thumping and cries of ‘rubbish’ could be heard) – though no one seemed to have told him that the increase in British genius of those days had come from the Protestant religious settlement which allowed religious leaders to marry and typically (in well-endowed circumstances) have the large families of bright children who were the beginning of Britain’s military, agricultural, industrial, philosophical and imperial success.

Another naughty elite ‘racist’ was the wife of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who routinely referred to Afro-Americans as ‘darkies’ – though in other ways pursuing a progressive lifestyle of (mainly) lesbian affairs (Christian Science Monitor, 16 xii).

In an apparent case of female-on-female jealousy, the 33-yr-old nanny of Britain’s sixteenth-richest woman, 50, the CEO of ‘Ann Summers,’ was arrested by police and charged with poisoning her boss’s food with screenwash (Sun, 24 xii).

Britain’s psychobabblers and media were baffled as jailed Bradford ‘crossbow cannibal’ (killer and eater of perhaps 14) Stephen Griffiths (see May 27) showed strong determination to die in prison by ingesting radio batteries (thoughtlessly provided by authorities in his ‘special-watch’ cell) and refusing normal food and liquid (Sun, 24 xii).

Griffiths’ mother had almost certainly been a prostitute and he had grown up with a lively hatred of himself and everyone else; yet medics had deemed there was nothing wrong enough with him to merit his detention.

{Freud’s concept of the death wish had been ignored by peecee-liberal intellectuals; neglect of IQ followed; and acceptance of most sexual perversions as normal – not paedophilia, of course, to preserve a semblance of decency! -- was following hard behind as the American homosexual lobby had President Obarmy establish the ‘right’ of US military personnel to be openly yag and lezzie.}

Sun, 24 xii: GERMANY is letting the long-term jobless show they really want to work by recruiting them to clear the snow from roads and airports. Our politicians should follow suit - and bring in thousands serving community sentences too. Millions of hard-working families would find the idea right up their frozen Strasse.

Although Scandinavian countries had long preserved an image of loving the third world (especially by admitting immigrants to rape and murder their own citizens, by making life hard for politicians and cartoonists who criticized Islam and by trying to extradite King Fart-exposing ‘Wikileaks’ leader Julian Assange* to vengeful America for having sex with a girl who had gone to bed with him), it turned out that (at least in Norway and Denmark) the love affair extended to animals, with pets being offered for sex at $130 a go (Aftenposten, 15 xii, ‘Animal bordellos draw Norwegians’).

* See previous. The Arab-exposing hell-raiser had been found searching on the net – reasonably enough -- for a “spirited, erotic and nonconformist” girlfriend – Sydney Morning Herald, 15 xii.

Germany’s Der Spiegel (9 xii) reported stories from all over Africa of growing resentment on the part of ordinary Blacks at being treated as slave labour, at having their environment destroyed by China’s ruthless mining, at being beaten and shot if they raised problems with their Chinese masters.

{How long before it would only be Africa’s corrupt despots who would fail to pine for the return of White racist imperialists?!}

The utter uselessness of the West’s feminists for a generation was exposed as film emerged from Muslim Sudan of a woman being whipped for two minutes (even in the face) for the ‘crime’ of wearing trousers (Sun, 15 xii).

{Western feminasties had preferred alliance with the left and ‘minorities’ against soft-target White males to any sustained pursuit of help for seriously oppressed women.}

Despite Russia being made the host for the supposedly multiculti footie World Cup in 2018, 5,000 young ultranationalists and xenophobes demonstrated violently in Moscow against undue concessions to the darker-skinned non-Slavic ethnics of southern Russia, leaving at least 30 injured and 1,000 arrested or detained (Associated Press, 16 xii; Kyiv Post, 16 xii). Mobs of skinheads savagely beat dozens of passersby in the streets and on the subway, leaving blood on the ground and swastikas scrawled on the walls.

The rally began as a protest against the killing of a member of the Spartak Moscow soccer team's fan club, who was shot with rubber bullets during clashes with Caucasus natives at a bus stop in early December. Spartak fans claimed corrupt policemen detained one suspected killer following the fight, but released others because they had powerful backers in the Caucasus.

President Dmitry Medvedev denounced the latest ructions as “a pogrom.” Riaot police prevented clashes in Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don, southern Russian cities with large non-Slavic populations where ethnic clashes had been frequent in recent years, officials said. Premier Putin, 58, promised to bring such racism under control, saying liberal critics “with their weak beards” should realize the importance of riot police; but opposition groups claimed that pro-Kremlin youth organizations actually hired soccer fans and ultranationalists to carry out attacks on Kremlin critics.

At one point during the Moscow rioting (which was mirrored in St Petersburg, with crowds chanting “Russia for the Russians!”) the Moscow police chief (of a force not known for softly-softly tactics) was seen chatting meekly to the rioters’ leader (in a balaclava).A degree of collusion between Russia’s neo-Nazis and the police seemed likely – in token of which most rioters were quickly released.

Ironically, the neo-Nazis’ presumed idol, Hitler, had been keen to be pals with the Muslims and other swarthy Caucasians of Russia’s soft underbelly; so it was Stalin who had shipped them off to Siberia.

The mountain people of the 21st-century Caucasus were often of mixed Turkic origin. They tended to be pretty different from Slavs in temperament as well as in external appearance. They were not popular in Russia because of their high criminality. Russians often called them ‘Blacks.’

A picture of Putin’s delightful reputed young mistress, flame-haired and wasp-waisted gymnaste and MP (for Putin’s United Russia party) Alina Kabayeva, 27, wearing a £21K gold Balmain dress, was issued in the Daily Telegraph, 15 xii.

After years at the top of the Labour Government, as defence minister and drugs minister, moustachioed Bob Ainsworth suddenly announced his recognition (which anyone of any sense had made since 1965) that the only sensible policy about drugs was liberalization and taxation, not criminalization.

He was promptly denounced as “irresponsible” by Labour colleagues, but supported by some 25% of Speccie readers (16 xii) and by the Torygraph’s Andrew Brown (who specially claimed that the 2001 decriminalization of all drug use in Portugal had been a resounding success).

{The only serious problem with liberalization -- assuming druggies would be made to bear the full costs of their addictions -- was what criminals would do when their job creation programme was withdrawn.}

Helen Reece, a reader in law at the London School of Economics, called on Theresa May, the Home Secretary, to relax rules which automatically banned sex offenders from caring for children, saying that this could breach their human rights (Daily Telegraph, 15 xii). In an article in the respected Child and Family Law Quarterly, Miss Reece suggested that re-offending rates were not high among sex criminals, adding: “despite growing public concern over paedophilia, the numbers of child sex murders are very low.”

In her article, Miss Reece suggested that the Government’s review of the ‘vetting and barring’ of possible paedophiles should also introduce an assumption that sex offenders including child abusers posed no threat once they had served their sentence. She said: "There is no reason why all sex offenders should not be considered as potentially suitable to adopt or foster children, or work with them.

{Whether Miss Reece would be dismissed for gross misconduct remained to be seen; but she was fat and bespectacled so perhaps had friends in high academic places....}

Though wanted for instant beheading in America by several politicians (including once-sexy Sarah Palin), hacker boss Julian Assange* (who had revealed that US diplomats had been advising – as had this diary/blog – for years that Pakistan was an absolute liability) was let out on bail in London – admittedly tagged, having to report to police daily, and with his friends having to stump up surety of £200K, but nevertheless due to stay at an exceptionally nice country seat.

Amongst the more engaging recent revelations from ‘Wikileaks’ was that North Korea was helping Burma to build a nuclear bomb, and that India provided America with secret facilities for torturing mad Mueslis.

{Just why the US had not invaded Pakiland remained a mystery; though US drones killed a few fanatics each day – including two crazed Brit [probably Pak-born] converts to Islam (16 xii).}

* Guardian, 18 xii: “In last Sunday's Observer Henry Porter compared him to the 18th-century libertine, John Wilkes. Wilkes is remembered now as the fearless publisher, editor and politician who fought crucial skirmishes in the journey towards a free press in Britain. He risked exile, imprisonment and death for the right to publish – including the proceedings of parliament. But in his own times he was also regarded as a rake. One biographer has noted how "the reports of his sexual liaisons – both factual and fictitious – leaked from the private realm to fuel the hectic debate over his qualities as a public man".”

Julian Assange apparently led a promiscuous sex life with his eager groupies, thus perhaps falling easily for a CIA honey trap.

CamCo luminary Michael Gove (a product of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxon., and a former Labour activist) swept to star headline billing with the Beeb by demanding yet more expenditure on skules than spending-mad New Labour had provided. The problem? He had winkled out of his officials (for he had surely never read Galton, Burt, Eysenck or The g Factor) the shocking information that there were 9-year-olds in Britain who could read only at the level of the typical 7-year-old....

The High Court in London gave the brave British National Party some relief from its hounding by the Government-funded race Gestapo, the ‘Equality and Human Rights Commission,’ which had argued the BNP to be in contempt of court over its originally ‘racist’ membership criteria which had required support for the “indigenous people” of Britain (Guardian, 17 xii).

The BNP said it would pursue the EHRC for the costs of its vexatious action. BNP leader Griffin was believed to be preparing to stand in the Oldham East and Saddleworth parliamentary by-election in January 2011

(brought about by the dismissal of Labour MP Phil Woolas who had won the seat partly by falsely accusing his close-running Liberal opponent of being sympathetic to Muesli terrorists).

Usually left-wing Guardian columnist Deborah Orr (16 xii), confronting Britain’s ills, came up with the same answer as had The g Factor (1996, Chap. 4)):

Britain could do worse than learn some belated lessons from Germany, which sends half as many school-leavers to university as Britain does, yet delivers many more young people into solid, well-paid careers. Germany also has selective state schooling, which Britain prefers to pretend it has all but done away with.

Germany, however, does not favour an instrument as blunt as the 11-plus. Parents can send their child to the type of school that they choose. However, if they do not accept the offered guidance as to the kind of school that would suit their child best, then they must accept that after two years, if their child does not cut the mustard, then he or she will have to move.

Contrary to the protestations of idealists (see e.g. Geldof, previous), it transpired (from WikiLeaks) that the Sudanese dictator, beturbaned President Omar al-Bashir (wanted for genocide), had probably managed to siphon off $9B of oil profits and aid money for his benighted country (15th poorest in the world and about to renew its civil war between its Muslim north and Christian south) into his own personal bank accounts in London (mainly at Lloyds) (One India, 18 xii; Daily Telegraph, 18 xii; Sify News, 18 xii; Guardian, 18 xii).

{Columnist Janet Daley continued her heroic battle against WikiLeaks (e.g. BBC Radio 4, 18 xii, 08:15); but many of WikiLeaks’ more interesting revelations were actually pro-American – or at least attested the horrid nature of the third world with which America was trying to deal. An especially amusing leak was that the Solunni Government of the Lebanon had begged the Israelis to invade and squash the Iranian-funded Shitite Hizbollah.}

As BBC1 got going with a generous 4-hour handling of the Nativity, it turned out there was some historical evidence that Mary was just 12 years old at the time of Jesus’ conception (director Toby Jordan, Daily Telegraph, 18 xii). Thus the BBC production turned Joseph and Mary into starstruck Romeo-and-Juliet-type teenagers taken aback by a pregnancy scare.

Regardless of Joseph’s age, his likely being the father would certainly help explain his willingness to stick around – when many other males, confronted by a ‘virgin birth,’ would have taken off rather than face the wrath of Mary’s family and of any general paedohysterics of those times.

But converting Mary’s pregnancy into a ‘virgin birth’ would still have been the smart thing to do – even if it did not winkle money out of Mary’s parents to pay for a hotel room in Bethlehem. I recall reading in the Times around 1965 that, in (Catholic) Liverpool, doctors reported 500 convenient ‘virgin births’ annually.

Anyway, with whatever selective modifications over the years till Emperor Constantine took Christianity by the scruff of the neck and insisted on a final version, it made for a great story and a great religion which properly put psychology’s strongest force, maternal love, at its core – though with a proper insistence on paternal rights as well as responsibilities.

After a retiring Swedish technocrat, Julian Assange, 39, revealed via his website ‘Wikileaks’ that American ambassadors unsurprisingly thought that Saudi’s King Fart wanted to bomb Iran, that British troops had not done much actual fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan [being instructed by their useless bespectacled bank-manager generals and creepy political overlords to ‘win hearts and minds’ – as they had spent thirty years failing to do in Ulster], that Libyan dictator Col. Gadawful had secured the release of the Lockerbie bomber by threatening trade sanctions against Britain, and that Chia’s LiPooPong wanted a united Korea under South-Korean leadership, America managed to prevail on Britain to lock up Assange in London’s Wandsworth Prison to face (entirely frivolous, previously dropped) charges of ‘rape’ in Sweden – rather as E.LU., unwilling to challenge directly my scientific racism, had decided to come at me for my modest anti-paedohysteria.

So much for liberty! Most Westerners would enjoy more liberty under Islam or the Republic of China than in the convoluted post-Cold War West that had sacrificed its freedom (especially of speech) to high-taxing politicians [who couldn’t even keep open the main road between Edinburgh and Glasgow], ‘human rights’ lawyers [who – with fat public fees for themselves --‘compensated’ every prisoner not allowed a centrally heated toilet], peecee-policing bureaucrats [who cancelled all Christmas festivities and called the increasingly miserable multiculti season ‘Winterval’] and peecee Marxoid ‘academics’ [who, with all mention of IQ banned by the great & good, had turned universities into social-work programmes and then thrown their final useless and spectacularly illiterate ‘graduates’ on to the dole].

In South Africa, Afrikaans singer Steve Hofmeyr sparked the usual ‘racial storm’ by blaming the “propaganda of entitlement” among Black people for the brutal murder of an Orange Free State family (AmRen, 5 xii). Writing on his Facebook page in Afrikaans, Hofmeyr said: “Blacks (God knows, probably not all of them, but most of those I observe) feel justified and ‘entitled’ in everything, from quotas/low matric marks to land rights/brutality”. “We must generalise,” wrote Hofmeyr. “Most black people I know are not violent but they slurp up the propaganda of entitlement, which gives young killers what they need to justify their brutality.” (Hofmeyr was referring to the murder of Attie Potgieter, his wife Wilna and their three-year-old daughter Willemien on their farm in the Free State.)

Top Dutch politicians began to get race-realistic, recognizing that the country’s (few) Jews and its rising tide of Moroccan- Indonesia-originating Muslims would never get on with each other – though some wanted the Jews out while others preferred to see the back of the Muslims (Israel News, 7 xii).

Following an attack on a New York taxi driver, the head of the city’s taxi-drivers’ union urged cabbies to “profile your passengers; it’s very important.” “I don’t care about racial profiling. You know, sometimes it is good we are racially profiled, because God’s honest truth is that 99% of the people that are robbing, stealing, killing these drivers are Blacks and Hispanics,” said Fernando Mateo, President of the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers, who himself was Hispanic and had a Black father (AmRen, 7 xii).

The American Anthropology Association announced what race realists had known for years, that the activities of anthropologists had nothing to do with science (Science, 9 xii) -- except in the case of a few ‘physical anthropologists’ who had long been regarded by their colleagues as imperialists, racists, fascists etc. (My own effort to improve anthropology and specially to counter the relativism and environmentalism of founding-father ‘social anthropologist’ Franz Boas appeared in Occidental Quarterly 13 (2003): ‘The great social anthropology scam.’)

Students (and schoolkids) who rioted in London with far-left support (9 xii),* almost overturning the Rolls Royce carrying Prince Charles (while screaming ‘Off with his head!’), swinging from the Union Jack at the Cenotaph,** breaking into the Treasury and, chanting ‘Tory scum!’, urinating on the statue of Sir Winston Churchill in Parliament Square, provided PM Daft Dave Cameron with a heaven-sent opportunity to charge all costs of ‘demonstrations’ and strikes to the organizers (e.g. the inflammatory Simon Hardy of the ‘National Coalition Against Fees and Cuts’).

Astonishingly, the police made few arrests – neither using snatch squads to capture the more violent ‘students’ nor even paintballing them to allow later identification: the pathetic peecee police created by NuLabour were well and truly on display. Meanwhile, despite the fires burning outside the Palace of Westminster and chunks of concrete being hurled at police, and terrible international publicity as the elderly Camilla was poked in the ribs with a stick, LibDim MPs furnished just enough parliamentary support to introduce semi-realistic fees for England’s largely illiterate university students – fees which would hopefully deter many such holidaymakers and encourage them to seek useful apprenticeships and thus deprive Britain’s peecee Marxoid ‘academics’ of their job creation programmes.

* From groups such as ‘UK Uncut,’ ‘Revolution’ and ‘Class War.’

** It was one Charlie Gilmour, the ‘Pink Floyd’ star David Gilmour's privileged son, who disgracefully swung from the Union Flag on the iconic and annually remembered (and televised) Cenotaph in Whitehall. Despite studying history at Cambridge University (Girton Girls’ College), he claimed not to have known what the Cenotaph represented. Like so many ‘student’ yobs ‘educated’ at taxpayers’ expense by leftist goons, he was tragically ignorant of British history and contemptuous of the millions who had given their lives to ensure his freedom.

Britain’s CamCoalition Government, which had proved unable to prevent left-anarchist rioting costing £1M in central London, and which routinely allowed hundreds of Islamic fanatics to clamour against British soldiers, seemed determined to show its mettle by banning an occasionally-thinking-of- Koran-burning American pastor, Terry Jones, who was invited to Britain by the English Defence League to discuss Muesli problems (Sunday Mail, 12 xii).

Soppy Swedes who had, with multicult commitment, invited Muslims to take over their city centres, got their answer as bombs went off in Stockholm accompanied by explanatory e-mails complaining about a Swedish cartoonist who had poked a little fun at Islam (12 xii).

Once the ‘workshop of the world’, Britain was praised by Labour deputy-leaderene Hattie Haperson (the privately educated fruitcake appearing in a niqab amidst Blacks in her Southwark constituency) as allowing immigrants to claim welfare benefits which were then sent straightway to their families abroad (Sunday Mail, 12 xii). {Our 365-day-per-year Christmas spirit!}

Monday, December 06, 2010

After 80 years of Keynesian `economists' urging more government spending to `stimulate the economy,' Stanford University's Prof. Michael Boskin showed (from data in the Reagan and Bush years) that it was actually lower taxes that led to more growth (Wall Street Journal, 1 xii).

Britain's illiterate and pig-ignorant `university students,' encouraged by Labour and fellow-travelling Liberals and Conservatives to believe they could have jobs as anthropologists and archaeologists* rather than as travel agent office staff, found themselves unable to run even a semblance of a riot in London, managing only to injure a couple of policemen in Trafalgar Square in their pathetic `demonstration' against having to pay (eventually, if they ever got rich) for the `higher education' which Labour had long ago undermined (Sun, 1 xii).

{At least the 20K ragtaggle turnout should have warned CamCo's Daft Dave, Nice Nick and Virtuous Vince to prepare for the larger demos by older goons that would follow if ever CamCo got around to sacking any of Britain's grossly overpaid socialistified bureaucrats.}

* At least one 2010 E.LU. Archaeology graduette, though perfectly pretty and well-mannered, was to be found working as a checkout girl in George Square Sainsbury's (E'bro'), almost within spitting distance of the social scientists, Islamicists and pseudo-psychologists who had `taught' her.

Ten years after I was lampooned in the social-environmentalistic Guardian newspaper (31 iii 2000) for having taught butch lesbian E.LU. Psychology student Becky Gardiner (some twenty years previously, in a psychology practical class inspired by Eysenckian lieutenant Glenn Wilson) that her relatively long ring finger (RF) was biologically linked (via intra-uterine sex hormone production) to masculinity, competitiveness, athleticism, disagreeability, spatial ability, driving skill and financial success (see previous - esp. Manning, v 2008), the Grauniad got round to giving its readers such facts of life (even admitting racial differences in RRFL - though not precisely pointing out that the West is -- by world standards, whether happily or unhappily -- hyperfeminized) (1 xii, Tim Dowling, `What your fingers say about you').

New evidence from Binghampton University, NY, showed that the sexual propensity to go for `one-night stands' was genetic - inherited on the DRD4 gene (Physorg, 1 xii).

The world's lowest-IQ game, soccer (a job creation programme for Blecks and Liverpuddlians), shot itself in the foot by awarding its largesse (in return for kickbacks from construction firms) to mafia-state Russia and oh-so-famed-for-footie Catarrh ooops Qatar - whereas volunteer hosts Australia, America, Belgium/Holland, Britain and Spain/Portugal got hardly a vote between them (Sydney Morning Herald, 3 xii, `The boot goes into FIFA over World Cup farce').

It was especially amusing that British journalism (which had single-handedly exposed FIFA corruption) turned out to know far more about the world than did HMG/FO (which had idiotically put up Prince Wills and PM Daft Dave, to their final embarrassment, to front England's hopeless bid to host the 2018/2022 games).London Mayor Boris Johnson slammed FIFA, saying: "It can't last in its current form." He said he wanted to "shine a spotlight" on such institutions not working in "complete probity".

Qatar had oil reserves of 15 billion barrels and held 14 per cent of the world's natural gas. Record oil prices had transformed Russia back into a superpower and created billionaires such as Roman Abramovich. Both countries would be able to throw whatever money FlFA wanted at putting on a show. Russia vowed to spend £2.4billion on stadiums. Qatar was pledging £64 billion on trains, the world's longest bridge and even a new city. Whether West-European footie fans would turn up was another matter.

The greatest joke, though, was Qatar hosting the 2022 event. This was a country that was so `ingrained in football' that it had just ONE footie stadium. It would also be 40øC during the day. Welcome then to the first indoor World Cup! That should be great for atmosphere -- along with a booze ban everywhere except in a few selected hotels.

For similar reflections, see Simon Jenkins, Guardian, 3 xii. E.g.: "The abasement of Cameron and Prince William is equalled only by the shocking behaviour of Britain's World Cup team, in rubbishing journalists investigating FIFA corruption as "unpatriotic" and "embarrassing". Who are these people, and what values do they represent? With six FIFA officials already sacked and clouds hovering over at least three of those voting in the bid race, Britain should have had no dealings with FIFA over the World Cup until it cleansed its stables. If that "damaged" a bid, more credit to Britain! Surely honesty comes before sport."

The head of English soccer announced he was QUITTING because he refused to deal with the stitch-up merchants of FIFA (Sun, 4 xii). Roger Burden, the acting FA chairman, said he would not stand for the permanent job in protest. He raged in a letter to FA board members that he was "not prepared to deal with people whom I cannot trust". He added: "It's difficult to believe the [FIFA] voting was an objective process."

FIFA's Vice-President was a Caribbean Bleck who had once said "Nobody in Europe likes England." Other FIFA bigwigs came from Cyprus, Turkey, Ivory Coast etc.; and one obese beardy was called `Blazer.'

A former FIFA official, a university professor, accused international football's governing body of being "the galacticos of corruption" -- and said the organisation had to go. Mel Brennan, 40, a delegate for North America at the 2002 World Cup, called some of his former colleagues "cockroaches" who lavished money on themselves. He described the voting for the 2018 World Cup as "not credible". And he said it sickened him to see Prince William, David Cameron and David Beckham kowtowing to FIFA officials - whom he accused of lying to them.

France, which had prided itself on its post-1789 love of liberty, failed in its 21st-century eight-month peecee effort to jail National Front leader Jean-Marie Le Pen, 81, who had had the temerity to use the slogan "No to Islamism" (AmRen, 2 xii).

Whether a 15-year old teenage girl from Birmingham who burned a copy of the Koran on Facebook and was promptly arrested remained to be seen - once-liberal Britain, while under Labour tyranny, forgetting the Crusades, the Spanish Armada and the beheading of King Charles I, had banned `religious hatred' in 2006 (AmRen, 1 xii).

Though Jews were famed for their 65-year role in encouraging Black, Hispanic and Islamic immigration into the West, the state of Israel approved a plan to hold and deport thousands of illegal migrant workers whom Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described as a "threat to the character of the country" (Reuters, 28 xi) In remarks to the Jewish cabinet, Netanyahu said thousands of migrants who had entered Israel mainly through Egypt in past years would be housed in a special holding facility, due to be built in Israel's southern Negev desert. "We must stop the mass entry of illegal migrant workers because of the very serious threat to the character and future of the state of Israel," he said, adding that Israelis who gave them work would face severe fines to make such employment unviable.

{Talk of `national character' (or indeed of individual character) had long been driven out of the West's MSM by leftists - many of them Jewish.}

Scores of `First Nations' [aka Red Indian] chiefs and council members earned more than the Prime Minister of Canada, according to data obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation-a revelation that prompted calls for greater financial transparency on (alcohol-saturated) `native reserves' (National Post (Toronto), 21 xi).

{Ditto in Britain: under its 1997-2010 Labour administration, many thousands of local government, luniversity, `health service' and quango operatives had come to enjoy salaries far in excess of the Prime Minister's. One goon bureaucrat, at the `Department of the Environment,' had netted himself £.5Mpa.}

Unremarked by allegedly freedom-loving politicos of the West (all of which cowardly ignoramuses had decided to ignore the suppression of my own academic freedom by depublication and persecution 15 years previously), the European Union took laughably draconian powers to criminalize "conduct {including speech} which is a pretext for directing acts against a group of persons or a member of such a group defined by reference to race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin" - i.e. to ban any criticism of `minorities' (doubtless especially of Muslims, so intent was the elderly E.U. to placate and hang on to its youthful slave labourers ooops socialist voters) (Gates of Vienna, 27 xi).

-- By Peter Hitchens, in the Mail (28 xi), writing about CamCo's wretched socialism-obliging DD-arse-licking `Oik' Education Minister Michael `Govey' Gove whose professed enthusiasm for `free schools' conspicuously did not include the crucial item of letting the newly proclaimed schools free to select their pupils:
Poor Gove, reduced to gimmicks already

How sad, but how inevitable, to see my old friend Michael Gove reduced to the usual airy, grandiose boasts of Education Secretaries of both parties for the past 40-odd years - that bad teachers are to be sacked, spelling is to be taught, discipline restored, etc. None of this will happen.

It can't be done without the return of grammar schools, the re-introduction of corporal punishment, the lowering of the school-leaving age and a mass cull of the education establishment, dedicated as they are to spreading ignorance in the pursuit of equality.

Watching Mr Gove promising to fix the schools without these things is like watching a carpenter trying to make a decent table without a saw, a chisel or a plane. In the end, he'll be reduced to shouting, plus stunts and gimmicks like, er, getting soldiers to do the teaching.

- By the Mail's Suzanne Moore (28 xi), alerted 15 years after the depublication of The g Factor that leftists had (as since 1966) (with the help of cowardly `Conservatives') been eroding free speech:
We have entered an era of heavy-handed policing.

No, I don't mean the kettling of schoolchildren [i.e. police `containment' of students and schoolkids demonstrating against the 300% fee hike needed to cover Liebour's irresponsible expansion of `university' education to 45% of each age cohort], though I don't like that much. I mean the policing of public discourse.

We must be shielded from the remarks of Tory peers and the online musings of a bishop. The law must be invoked to clamp down on silly jokes on Twitter. It is as if we are all sensitive little flowers that will wither away should we hear anything a little robust.

I defended Lord Young's right to say what he thinks [that, with mortgage interest rates near zero, there was no effective `recession' and thus `You've never had it so good'] last week not because I agree with him, but because I believe in free speech. If the penalty for speaking your mind in politics is now to lose your job, then we end up with a lot of awful coded jargon.

This is exactly what happened on tough issues such as immigration. And this is exactly why the BNP and now the English Defence League can make headway, because they promise to tell it like it is. Censoring language never quells real disquiet.

Class, far from having `disappeared', is now an equally combustible subject. Howard Flight has been immediately slapped down for his comments on child benefit. He said: `The middle classes are discouraged from breeding because it's jolly expensive, but for those on benefits, there is every incentive.'

The word `breeding', with its eugenicist undertones, is what has caused trouble. Flight's sentiment may be lamentable, but it is commonly heard everywhere: scroungers and immigrants are having loads of babies and living the life of luxury on heaps of benefits....

How brave the British right can get! (But don't ask them to defend munificent educative paedophiles or any who put in a merciful word for such!)

Learning of their country's bankruptcy (though apparently not of the UK's surprisingly generous loan of £10B to help out the Aulde Sodde), 100K Holy Eirish Republicans took to Dublin's Sackville Street ooops O'Connell Street (sadly lacking its grand Nelson Pillar which the IRA had blown up c. 1970) to protest at, well, everyt'ing (Observer, 28 xi) - little appreciating as they lambasted their bankers and threw fireworks at police (called `guards' to remind de boggers of the German prison camp in which they would in future be living) that the West's bubble & bust had been due to American politicians (stand up BillySillyWilly and Dubbya!) forcing US banks to lend to `subrime' borrowers (aka Blacks and Hispanics) and thus inflating property prices and making people - especially in property-mad ?ire -- think borrowing would always work (see previous).

As China's military advance guard, North Korea, elicited no military response from the USA (just a `war game' - albeit involving the mighty nuclear-powered Nimitz-class USS George Washington) for killing four South Koreans and injuring scores more in its artillery bombardment of an island in the Yellow Sea (no more than for NK's earlier sinking of an SK warship, killing 46 sailors), it was plain that American power was tailing off and/or politically unusable - as the Saudi Arabian Solunnis had found when pleading with Washington [as revealed by Wikileaks, 28 xi] to bomb, bomb, bomb Shitite Iran.

In a national referendum, Swiss voters approved (by 53% to 47%) a plan for automatic deportation of foreigners committing serious crimes or benefit fraud, in what was a significant victory for the nationalist party (SVP) that pushed the proposal against the will of the government. Just as a 2009 referendum had successfully ruled out the erection of more mosque minarets, the Swiss government would have to draft a law requiring automatic expulsion of foreigners found guilty of crimes such as murder, rape, drug-dealing and benefit fraud. Expert lefty whingers like one Genevan lawyer Marcelo Kohen predicted such a law would be challenged before the European `Court of Human Rights'.... (Guardian, 29 xi).

As 250,000 items of confidential diplomatic correspondence were aired worldwide by `Wikileaks,' it turned out that the main enthusiasm for bombing Iran's nuclear facilities came not from American imperialists or Zionist fanatics but from Sunni Arabs, whose King AbdullhadaFart could not wait to deal with the `existential threat' posed by Caucasian Shi-ites - to "cut the head off the snake," as he put it (Guardian, 29 xi).

New research from U. Oregon found IQ linked to the number and location of pictographs that were recalled, but not to recall of the details of said pictographs (Physorg, 29 xi).

{Memory for detail is chiefly linked to Neuroticism, the second-biggest of the `Big 5/6 dimensions of human psychological differences, as was explained in 2001, 'What is it to be high-Neuroticism? - Drive, vigilance or personal memory?' In H.J.Eysenck & S./Jitendra Mohan (eds), Personality Across Cultures. New Delhi / New York : Oxford University Press, pp. 362ff / 376. (For a mention of this "typically incisive" chapter by Brand, see The Tribune, India, 12 viii 2001.)}

As America's (delightfully curvaceous) `right-wing' ignoramus Sarah Palin, came out as an admirer of (China-abandoned) "`ally" North Korea (and due through such ignorance to hand Obarmy a second term unless Donald Trump could get a grip on the GOP), Britain's Prince Andrew (UK roving `Trade Ambassador') proved himself the son of his father by some straight speaking - according to' Wikileaks.' When it was pointed out that UK and US investments in Kyrgyzstan were actually similar despite America's vast size, the Prince said (Sun, 30 xi): "No surprise there! The Americans don't understand geography. Never have!"

Surprising the Britworld of footy maniacs as the bankrupt country sent Daft Dave, BoJo, Prince Wills and lissome Victoria's David Beckham somewhere to plead for World Footy to come to spend potsamoney in London in 2018, the BBC joined with the Sun (30 xi) and Sunday Times in exposing laughable international-scale cheats at FIFA {whatever that is}: all three top alleged frauds having distinctly non-English names, all being obese, and one being Bleck.

Fed up with appearing to have a low (91) national IQ (among non-African countries), Thailand announced it would check the intelligence of 100,000 of its schoolchildren with a 40-minute test in December and begin investigating how IQ could be raised (Straits Times, 30 xi).
