As the shooting of Labour MP Holy Jo Crawford by a loony loner and the subsequent instant orchestration of mass Westminster mourning took what little wind there had been out of LEAVE’s faintly nationalistic sails, polite conservatives, afraid of being called extremists, could not bring themselves to remark the humanitarian cause that had not figured on Jo’s agenda.

Occidental Observer, 18 vi:

"Jo Cox  wanted to make the world a better place and it was a cause for which she was willing to travel halfway across the globe. Whether consoling rape victims in Darfur or bombed out villagers in Afghanistan, it seemed the jet-setting international aid worker was rarely far from the action.

Lately it had been the struggle of Syrian war refugees to get to the West that touched her heart, and their plight was a subject she returned to again and again after becoming a Member of Parliament. It seemed there was no victims anywhere she could not empathise with.

Except, perhaps, with one striking omission.

And that would be the White child rape victims of Muslim grooming gangs in her own back yard. For her West Yorkshire constituency is near the epicentre of the Muslim child rape epidemic that has been sweeping the Labour heartlands of northern England, largely ignored or covered up by social services workers, police and politicians.

For it is a striking omission that of all the subjects she enjoyed sounding off on, this world-famous crisis affecting the poorest Whites on her doorstep was not one of them. One cannot help wonder if this shrewd silence was connected to the fact that her lavishly paid MP’s job in her constituency of Batley and Spen largely depended on the support of the local Muslim community.

Co-incidentally, just as Jo Cox was shot and stabbed to death outside her constituency office in Birstall last Thursday,  sentencing was about to take place at Leeds Crown Court  after a long trial involving a horrific case of Muslim child exploitation.

The court heard that in Halifax, eleven miles from Cox’s constituency, a vulnerable underage girl had been left to fend for herself at the age of 13 after her mother died.  This child ended up being preyed on by 100 Muslim males who plied her with alcohol and drugs. The girl — nominally in council care — was then passed  from house to house and from town to town as far away as Manchester and London.

The girl described being filmed by Muslims on a mobile phone while being orally raped. She contracted an STD.  Some of the rapists were identified from CCTV which had been seized from the hotels she could remember, while others were caught because of DNA from stains on her clothing. The police said afterwords that the girl, one of two victims, had shown “immense courage and bravery in reporting these matters to the police and providing evidence.”

At the Leeds trial, only fifteen of the men were convicted.  Originally over a hundred were arrested and doubtless dozens of culprits walked free.  It was a lurid and horrific story but such hearings are so common these days, they  have become wearily familiar.

Nevertheless you would think this would be a issue that would enrage a feminist-minded, morally crusading MP.  But no, instead of fighting to defend the White girl victims of Muslim rape gangs, female Labour MPs have preferred to defend the Muslim community and deflect any criticism"

Or, like Jo Cox, they have chosen to ignore it completely. In her maiden speech, Jo Cox said that her community had been “deeply enhanced by immigration” but presumably child rape was not what she had in mind

Indeed, the good-networking MP could have been called Bomber Cox for her keen determination to bomb Basher Assad and his Alawites and Shitites so as to bring about an all-Solunni Syria which could form a massive caliphate with Turkey, al-Qaeda ISICK and Saudi. {Mercifully, Parliament had turned the option down.}

As Yukay voters, divided 50/50 between globalizers and nationalists,* faced years of uncertainty as to whether and on what terms they would get an ultra-messy divorce from Brussels, they could not complain of not having been shown the problem of scarcely controlled 3rd-world invasion they confronted: on the very eve of the ‘Brexit?’ referendum, 400 pumigrants in the shanties of Calais demonstrated their skills of brick-tossing, fence-scaling and lorry-commandeering as they headed for the utopia of London (lately equipped with a Muesli ‘Palestinian’-backing mayor, SadFreakHeCan, to greet them) (Sun, 22 vi).

Traffic at the busy port was stopped for hours, enabling hundreds of cars to be damaged. Fortunately for the illiterate A/A illegals, Britain’s great-and-good virtue-signallers thought they would be getting more Indian takeaways and Polish plumbers; and low-paid Brits on zero-hours contracts minded their cannabis lofts and pit bull terriers in far-away shitholes well north of Watford where Pakistani paedophiles provided care for teenagerettes that peecee-scared social workers and police could not manage. So Pax PeeCee would continue in Yukay – at least till central Europe’s civil war about mindless immigration got into full swing.

*This distinction – arguably the new faultline of modern politics – was articulated (22 vi) in the Times by Daniel Finkelstein (who, in the British context, called it one between REMAINians and LEAVEians, under either of which mass immigration would be doomed to continue). {How Labourites would yowl!}

Just how out of touch could politicians be? A memorably resounding answer of ‘Plenty!’ was provided at the end of Yukay’s lacklustre ‘Brexit?’ referendum where, just before the opening salvo of Sunderland’s pro-LEAVE 62% was declared on telly,  even UKIP’s Mr Garage declared his cause lost , along with most pollsters; and leading LEAVErs cancelled a London celebration party for LEAVE which they had organized.

In fact, however, the non-metropolitan heartlands of England and Wales voted nationalist/LEAVE and Scotland voted nationalist/REMAIN, causing PM Daft Dave and half Labour’s Shadow Cabinet to resign and three million shocked young Twitterers to seek a new referendum.

Amid the wonders and turmoil, no possible leader could be detected by chatterati who would implement LEAVERs wishes – especially on low-IQ immigration which had evidently begun to make an unwelcome mark outside London. The problem was that, after a decade of demonizing Nigel Farage, there was no easy way of electing him into Parliament and into the elite of the new ‘national welfare’ party that Britain needed.

Britain’s referendum decision to quit Germany’s EUSSR was a seismic moment for Europe because it pointed to the inescapable reality that a new national politics – whose angry force was for too long simply denied by the technocrats and governing classes – really was Trumping* Brussels’ supranational ambitions.

To most LEAVE voters, “ever closer union” might as well be a little-known Luther Vandross track. The animating, motivating, galvanising factor in the LEAVE vote was cutting immigration. “We want our country back” was shorthand for “We want our borders, schools, hospitals, police and houses back.” The people have spoken, and they wanted major cuts to immigration.

Whoever emerged to lead the Conservative Party next had to concede this – but there was a growing sense that senior LEAVErs didn’t yet recognise the extent of their promises. In a post-referendum statement, Boris Johnson mentioned immigration only once, expressing a desire to “take the wind out of the sails of ... those who would play politics on immigration”.

Perhaps he was in denial about the fact that it was the un-peecee politics of immigration that had delivered LEAVE’s victory and – if the betting odds were right – his likely entrance to Downing Street. Certainly, expecting the many globalizers in modern Conservative ranks to back nationalism was a tall order.

The task of breaking peecee multiculturalism would more naturally fall to parachutist Labour MP Major Dan Jarvis MBE (graduate of Aberystwyth University and King’s College London) who could be expected to get on with Powellite commodity trader Nigel Farage MEP whose UKIP had repeatedly shown it spoke for the national-welfarist concerns of many traditional Labour voters.

*On a flying visit to Scotland to open his refurbished Ayrshire golf course, The Donald hailed the LEAVE result as “fantastic.”

Re-invention of the wheel continued by university staff needing a grant – with predictable though otherwise perfectly satisfactory results. See below:

Association for Psychological Science, June 6, 2016:

Psychological characteristics link genes with upward social mobility, according to data collected from almost 1000 individuals over four decades. The data suggest that various psychological factors play a role in linking a person’s genetic profile and several important life outcomes, including professional achievement, financial security, geographic mobility, and upward social mobility.

The study, led by psychological scientist Daniel W. Belsky of Duke University School of Medicine, builds on previous research indicating a genetic continuum that predicts individuals’ educational achievement. In the earlier study, the Social Science Genetic Association Consortium examined millions of genetic variants in more than 100,000 people and found that these variants could be aggregated and turned into a “polygenic score” that was linked with educational attainment"

Political correctness forbade mention of whether the linking “psychological characteristics” chiefly involved the g factor....

Desperate at the inexorable takeover of the low-class White votes which the left had assumed to be its own, even the holy Huffington Post allowed advocacy of violence against the ‘fascism’ of The Donald (and equally of British Brexiteers and Continental ‘far right’ patriots). See below:

Jesse Benn, Huffington Post, June 6, 2016:

"The rise of Donald Trump has exposed the frightening underbelly of America’s foulest tendencies.  ....Trump has not just flagrantly violated the typical boundaries of political discourse, his candidacy is linked to multiple instances of violence. It shouldn’t be a surprise that opposition to him has responded in kind. Yet, a lot of people seem shocked and appalled at this perfectly logical reaction.

In the face of media, politicians, and GOP primary voters normalizing Trump as a presidential candidate—whatever your personal beliefs regarding violent resistance—there’s an inherent value in forestalling Trump’s normalization. Violent resistance accomplishes this. In spite of this, such resistance is apparently more offensive and unacceptable to societal norms and liberal sensibilities than the nastiness being resisted in the first place. ....Violence that takes place at Trump rallies –- in support or opposition –- is a reaction to the tone he’s set, and the blame for it should land primarily on his shoulders"

As 49 dancing homosexuals were despatched and another few score injured in the early morning at an Orlando, Florida, nightclub, commentators advanced their own favourite causal factors. Donald Trump blamed radical Islam; the Guardian’s Owen Jones – a young yag himself – blamed homophobia; President Obarmy blamed lax US gun laws; some blamed mental illness (for the shooter was a manic-depressive) and drug use (the attacker used steroids; and some blamed PeeCee (the attacker’s craziness and homophobia had come to the attention  of  his employer (a security company – the UK-based ‘G4S’) and the FBI but no action was taken because the attacker was a Muslim.

In truth, all these factors were probably involved in multiplicative interaction with each other and easily so since they covary in the general population. But the central factor was surely Islam: attacker Omar Mateen was a Muslim who sometimes expressed extreme views and claimed membership of Hezbollah and even phoned police to tell of his allegiance to ISICK; his father was a Muslim who, despite living in New York, was a contender for the presidency of his native Afghanistan; Mateen’s wife – whom he beat daily – was a Muslim who made no effort to report his peculiarities to police.

Moreover, whatever the other causal complexities, Islam was plainly partly causal directly to homophobia, intolerance, psychopathic violence and wife abuse. No wonder The Donald was quick to observe that the Orlando horror was a fresh sign of Muesli ‘invasion without uniforms; and that Hillary Clinton’s declining to denounce radical Islam showed she must herself be “crazy.”

Yet ‘liberal’ apologists for Islam threw themselves tirelessly into insisting MSM  attribute the outrage – the worst against yags since the Holocaust -- to nothing but homophobia.

Contradicting any conventional of that sort, it transpired that Mateen was well known to be himself a homosexual; and he had trawled for partners at the club where he would go on the rampage and also online.

The murderous antipathy of Western Mueslis to yags was confirmed as five Allahmaniacs went on trial in Luton, UK, for urging coreligionists to join and fight for ISICK. A speech was recorded by an undercover officer referred to as Kamal, who spent 20 months infiltrating the Muesli group and recording their meetings (Times, 16 vi).

One Mohammed told the group: “When the parliament are making laws and having Gay Pride today in the UK, Gay Pride, where’s the pride in being gay? There’s no pride in being gay.” He added: “Alhamdulillah [praise to be God] the people haven’t caught you, or it’s high building for you.”

As Brexit maintained for a week a 6% lead in UK opinion polls, the ‘liberal’-left’s darling columnist, Italian-homed Polly Toynbee cracked: the patriotic White working class on whom Polly et al. had relied for tradition-respecting votes (even as the likes of Polly and Owen Jones enthused about such unlikely bedfellows as Islam, feminism, disablism and yaggery were to be denounced as foolish neo-Nazis who would wreck the comfy world of peecee piety that ‘anti-Nazis’ had inflicted on British public life while keeping business sweet by letting foreign slave labour stream in.

More intellectually, Polly began to admit the major re-alignment of Western politics into ‘national welfarism’ vs ‘peecee globalism’ long foreseen in this blog. Guardian, 14 vi.  See below:

"This is the sound of Britain breaking. Here ends our “moderate, tolerant” self-image. Imagine Brexit wins and two years later prime minister Boris Johnson is still embroiled in quarrelsome EU exit talks. ....Barking and Nottingham people will see no change, same migrants, same sense of powerlessness. Recession-hit, facing worse cuts, voters won’t blame themselves for their own folly. Old problems are unresolved – an economy reliant on City and property bubbles, low skills, low productivity, atrophied public services, hopes raised and dashed. [Michael] Gove and Johnson risk losing control of the furies they have unleashed.

As high-status Ford jobs are swapped for low-paid warehouse work, indignation is diverted daily against migrants.

That moment is fertile for some yet-worse demagogue who calls for throwing out migrants already here. Expect the volume to be raised against “elites” – anti-parliament, anti-politics, bored of democracy itself. Ignite hatred against Europe, blame Brussels for deliberately impoverishing us in revenge, stirring centuries-old enmities.

Blend all that with a little nationalistic leftish populism, not all of it bad: nationalise our utilities and rail, eject foreign owners from key industries and property, pump up armed forces and national pride. These are potent ingredients for militant majoritarianism, blaming minorities and minority opinions. The Human Rights Act is abolished and the BBC absorbed into government. National socialism {= Nazism/NSDAP) will no doubt carry a new name – but it’s there in the making"

Polly’s belated recognition of this blog’s ‘realignment’ thesis was supported by top columnist Rachel Sylvester in the Times (14 vi). See below:

"One West Midlands MP estimates that 60 per cent of Labour voters in his constituency are supporting Brexit. “The Remain Labour MPs who go out canvassing are tearing their hair out because it’s so overwhelmingly for Leave. But to be honest I’m shocked that they’re shocked. Traditional Labour voters are not enthusiastic about the EU and they’re furious about immigration.” ....

The truth is that the referendum is exposing Labour’s breach with its traditional voters in a way that has profound implications for the country as well as the party. In Birmingham, campaigners were told to take all mentions of immigration out of their literature. Although the local MPs begged to be allowed to tackle local concerns head on, they were banned from doing so by party staff following instructions from the leader’s office. ....

Labour and the Remain campaign are now, as one former shadow cabinet minister puts it, “reaping the whirlwind” of years of ignoring voters. For those who feel dissatisfied with the status quo — the “left behind” voters who have suffered from globalisation — Brexit feels like the only way of changing their situation in the absence of a credible alternative government. ....

In an era of identity politics, when tribal loyalties are breaking down and culture wars are breaking out, the Labour coalition is fracturing. ....

Labour [has been] turning into one big Islington dinner party offering vegan lasagne to people who prefer beef. One Labour MP says that the [referendum] campaign is exposing growing tensions within his party just as much as among the Conservatives. There’s a rupture between the metropolitan, liberal wing and the traditional, working-class base. The Tory splits are Westminster high politics but the Labour ones are a shifting of the tectonic plates.”

Melanie Phillips (Times, 14 vi) chipped in with “We are witnessing, in effect, a mass uprising across the West against globalisation” – and, she might have added, against globalisation’s bolt-on philosophies of multiculturalism and political correctness which had been forced on cowardly businessmen, state-employed top fat cats and financiers by ‘liberal’-left bullying. – Funny to think that as metropolitan lefties were rejected by a revived Old Labour party, they would have to seek their fortune among cuckservatives just as Christians had historically been sure to maintain bridges with the rich and powerful who in return for a reasonable press kept churches afloat!

As the killing of a well-liked youngish female Labour MP, a keen REMAINer along with her husband, by a 52-yr Yorkshire depressive, weirdo and loner who had once made occasional ‘hard right’ contacts, allowed REMAINer Daft Dave to close the EUSSR referendum campaign with five days of national mourning for the saintly Jo Cox, US columnist David Frum (Times, 18 vi) observed that the West’s recent move towards anti-‘expert’, anti-establishment, anti-PeeCee and pro-nationalist sentiment could be traced to the bizarre infliction of yet more mass immigration by the likes of multiculti-maddened Merkel and Obarmy (and, he could have added, Britain’s slave-seeking Labourites who needed at once to placate money men and to replace the White working-class voters whom Labour had deserted). See below:

"....after only the briefest pause during the deep recession of 2008-2009, legal and illegal migration to the US has accelerated again: about 1.1 million legal migrants in both 2014 and last year, plus more than 500,000 illegal migrants. This pace represents a near doubling of the pace of migration during the deepest years of the recession.

It has been the policy of the Obama administration to welcome even faster migration in the future. The package negotiated with Congress in 2013 would have doubled legal migration. A Republican mutiny forced its abandonment. Obama responded with orders suspending enforcement against approximately half the illegal aliens in the US: those who’d entered the US as children, then of those who had entered in early adolescence, then later of their parents as well.

Within weeks of the later orders being issued, tens of thousands of unaccompanied Central American minors surged across the US border. Thousands more have followed in the two years since.

Even more predictable than this surge are the dangerous cultural and political consequences. Opposition to Obama’s migration policy fuels Trump’s, just as reaction against Angela Merkel’s has animated nationalist movements across Europe.

Liberals have tended to assume that mass migration is essential to society. But we should have learnt by now that mass migration is one of the greatest threats to a liberal system. In Trump’s America, as in France and Germany, excess migration triggers a backlash among the host population. Borders are as necessary to a free society as laws: they are the first law that makes a country a country.

Obama has spoken powerfully against Trump’s demagoguery. His criticism might more usefully be directed inwards: for it was his own decisions that enabled the rise of such a simultaneously ludicrous and sinister challenger"

Whether the orgy of mourning for REMAINer Jo would make voting LEAVE on Thursday 23rd – PeeCee’s date with destiny, at least till The Donald got his chance to knock it out in November – remained to be seen. MSM preferred to play up shooter Thomas Mair’s ancient internet links rather than his seeking psychiatric help for a depressive episode just the day before the killing.*

The BBC even claimed that, after a little epilepsy in childhood, Mair had no mental illness*; and it disregarded the amazement of Mair’s brother and mixed-race half-brother at the very suggestion that Mair was ‘far right’ or ‘racist,’ ‘vile’ etc. – he was best known for free tending of old ladies’ gardens and attendance at his public library.

There was nothing to disturb the referendum’s avoidance of serious discussion of mass low-IQ immigration, for all that this was what concerned many voters, especially LEAVErs. Only UKIP guru and LEAVEr Nigel Farage dared an advert giving a flash of ‘Syrian’ pumigrants trekking in their hundreds across Slovenia towards Germany – an advert which had him instantly condemned on the Beeb as a ‘racist’ etc., yet which might just get through to the part of Britain’s proletariat that had not yielded to welfarism and remained proud, pugilistic, pie-scoffing, pint-quaffing, pub-crawling and parliamentary in its love of quick-fire and good-humoured debate in the language which England had given the world but which the forever-warmongering French forbade to the dismal yet dictatorial EUSSR.

*Most likely the enlightened Beeb no longer regarded ‘bipolar disorder’ as an illness – along with such mere ‘issues’ as schizophrenia, hysteria, homosexuality and psychopathy – probably racism, xenophobia, militarism and uninvited caning were the only ‘real’ mental pathologies left....

As the UK’s referendum on membership of the EUSSR approached with scarcely a mention of the public’s favourite topic of immigration – let alone of race, IQ, Blacks, Arabs, gypsies or Muslims – the Turkish plan for converting Europe to Islam was revealed in the Times by Melanie Phillips (7 vi). Even the most cowardly dullards with their heads in the sand could no longer stay in denial. Turkey’s dictator Recep Erdogan had exploited the ‘Syrian’ pumigrant crisis to demand visa-free travel for Turks into the EU and was a dangerous Islamist who quite openly advocated invasion and takeover.

"....Brexiteers are correct. Turkey is set to funnel untold numbers of new migrants into the EU and then to Britain. Cameron’s statement that the visa waiver won’t apply to Britain because it is outside the Schengen passport-free area is typically mealy-mouthed. Once inside the EU, the fact that Turks will have to show their passports at the UK border won’t stop them somehow coming here.

A leaked European Commission report also warned that other migrants, including criminals or terrorists, might start trying to obtain fraudulent Turkish passports in order to gain access to Europe. The former head of MI6, Sir Richard Dearlove, described the visa waiver as “perverse, like storing gasoline next to the fire we’re trying to extinguish”.

Cameron and Major are not just slippery but are betraying Britain.

This crisis also plays into Erdogan’s strategy for Islamising Europe. He has told us this himself. At last year’s celebration in Istanbul of the 562nd anniversary of the fall of Constantinople, Erdogan told a cheering crowd of an estimated two million Turks: “What is the conquest? The conquest is Hijrah [expansion of Islam through emigration] . . .

“The conquest is Mecca . . . The conquest is Jerusalem . . . The conquest is al-Andalus [Muslim Spain] . . . The conquest is to open the doors of Anatolia up to Vienna for this blessed nation . . . It is to make the sycamore [the Ottoman empire] meet with the ground that would cover three continents and seven climates . . .”

Judging by his rhetoric, Erdogan wishes to recreate the Ottoman empire and take over much of Europe. It’s an aim shared by the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, Islamic State and the rest. The difference is that, courtesy of the EU, he believes he can achieve this without a shot being fired. Brussels will simply open the gates of Europe for its Islamic conquerors to enter.
The revelation that Erdogan had actually gone public with his ambitions would surely boost the UK’s LEAVE vote beyond the level pegging shown in early-June polls"

In view of Melanie’s revelation, it was no surprise that the authoritarian, censorious and punitive Erdogan should turn out to be invited to be the chief orator at the funeral in Kentucky of ‘Muhammad Ali’ (q.v.), who himself had long been a supporter of the Muesli despot’s party and invasion plan.

{Eventually, funeral organizers withdrew the invitation. The violent propensities and dotty beliefs of the seriously non-integratist Nation of Islam, which star member Ali never rejected outright, were brought to the attention of Ali-worshippers by columnist Daniel Finkelstein in the Times (8 vi).}

Progress towards a re-alignment in Western politics – creating national welfarist parties and consigning greedy globalizers, cowardly ‘conservatives’ (cuckservatives), defecting deists, pious pacifists and loopy liberals to holding the peecee baby which they had adopted from cultural Marxists who aimed to end Western civilization – was reported from the famous (though now run-down) coalmining powerhouse of south Wales (Guardian, 8 vi, Aditya Chakrabortty).

“South Wales will be among the most pro-LEAVE places in all of the UK,” said Roger Scully, professor of politics at Cardiff University. “Across Wales as a whole it will be very split between those who want to stay in the EU and those who want to go. But Newport and the southern Welsh valleys are pretty damned likely to come out as an outright majority to go.”

If this is a protest vote, then there’s plenty here to protest about. Look up from Newport’s Commercial Street, and the honeyed architecture reminds you just how wealthy this city was a century ago, when it exported coal to the rest of the world. The swankiest hotel in town, complete with ballroom, has turned into a pound shop. Where there was once a jewellers now stands a vaping den. The M&S has left, to be replaced with a Sports Direct.

In the temp agency’s window the magic number is 7.20: the national minimum wage on most of the cards for would-be warehouse operatives, security guards, forklift drivers. Peer down the street and you’ll see the transporter bridge dating back to 1906, its gondola still lifting cars from one bank to the other.

When that bridge was built more than a century ago, south Wales was one of the big-earning regions of the UK. Now the coal and steel industries have either died or moved, and it’s among the poorest parts of Europe. For every £100 made by a Londoner, a resident of Wales makes £42, going by the calculations of gross value added. Whether under Thatcher or Blair or Cameron, Wales keeps falling further and further behind.

“The folk memory of Thatcher destroying our communities is fading,” said Iestyn Davies, formerly of the Federation of Small Businesses in Wales. “Now it’s Labour that’s blamed for economic failure.”

In Newport’s Victorian covered market, far more people were behind the counters than buying anything. The majority of the stall-holders said they were going to vote LEAVE. Did they consider themselves to be winning or losing under “the current system”, I asked, without providing any definition – and yet with no hesitation the leavers replied, “Losers”.

On the comics stand, Terry reeled off what made him angry: benefit claimants in designer clothes, immigrants taking all the housing, and “Romanian gypsies”. He concluded: “I’m definitely a loser, because I’m financing other people’s lives.”

The medicine usually prescribed for such post-industrial malaise is devolution, whether that be a “northern powerhouse” or an English parliament. But in Wales they’ve had devolution since 1999. A government with as much autonomy as a teenager in a loftroom, its presence has turned Cardiff Bay into a government enclave, complete with jobs and infrastructure and expense-account restaurants. Wales has its own equivalent to the Westminster bubble, observes Roger Scully: a Cardiff Bay bubble.

Wales is where trickle-down economics and trickle-down politics meet – and driving out from Newport you see the lack of results. Instead, the hills that were black with coal waste in the 80s have now reverted to green. Where once there was mass employment there are now abandoned buildings and warehouse units for one- and two-man bands.

At the village green of Cwmcarn, Kate and Casey were chatting while their boys played football. Again came the worries about immigrants. “They’re not even here two minutes before getting benefits and operations on the NHS,” said Casey. No, she’d never come across this personally. But it was a worry.

By local standards, a lot more immigrants have been coming to the Welsh countryside from Poland and the rest of eastern Europe. But there were so few here to begin with that the numbers are still tiny. In Merthyr Tydfil – which in all of Wales has seen the highest percentage increase in immigration over the past decade – you are still five times more likely to meet a working-age adult on benefits than someone without a UK passport.

However invisible the immigrants, they were mentioned by every leaver, in language that I once thought had been dropped in the 80s. “I don’t want to offend you.” Or: “I’m not racist.” Or: “I’ve got mates from Ghana.” Always followed by “but”. But we let too many in. But we need to look after our own. But I hear eastern Europeans turning up at the jobcentre are handed a grand.

“I can’t help thinking that 23rd June is really a vote on whether it’s OK to be racist or not,” said Iestyn Davies.

As in Donald Trump’s America, the collapse of the economy and the distrust of politicians has re-licensed opinions that would have been considered unacceptable until recently. And it has led to a new round of the age-old game of ferociously defending meagre prospects and entitlements.

The very landscape of south Wales is littered with broken promises. The mining communities were offered hi-tech “industrial villages” by Labour. They never came. On the outskirts of Newport stands a giant white plant that was meant to be an LG factory. Millions in subsidies were poured in, the politicians prostrated themselves – and the Korean firm still bolted, leaving the site empty for a decade.

Up the road, in the old steeltown Ebbw Vale, residents were promised a Donington-style racetrack, along with an unlikely sounding 6,000 jobs. The Welsh government pulled the project in April. But still, more wheezes are dreamed up. Better road links. A new shopping mall for Newport, despite a population without enough cash to spend in it.

Do all this often enough and badly enough, as has happened in south Wales, and the age-old contract between the governing parties and the governed breaks.

I can’t help thinking that 23rd June is really a vote on whether it’s OK to be racist or not"

As the daft idealism and astonishing incompetence of Empress Multiculti Merkel and her Brussels minions became clear, disaffection with the EUSSR became widespread, a poll of 10.5K Europeans reported in May (Telegraph, 9 vi).

It's not just the Brits: Euroscepticism on the rise all across Europe, major survey shows:

"Anti-Brussels sentiment has risen sharply all across Europe over the past year thanks to a toxic combination of economic stagnation and the mismanagement of the migrant crisis, a new Europe-wide opinion poll has shown.

The Pew Research Centre survey found that rising disenchantment with the EU is not confined to the UK, with Greece, France and Spain also having a majority with an unfavourable view of Europe.

“Euroscepticism is on the rise across Europe with about two-thirds of both the British and the Greeks, along with significant minorities in other key nations, wanting some powers returned from Brussels to national governments,” said the report.

The findings, based on surveys covering countries that account for 80 per cent of the EU population, will strengthen the arguments of Brexit campaigners that Brussels have been too slow reverse the federalist agenda of the 1990s.

In a sign that Europe’s publics increasingly want an end to the principle of ‘ever closer union’, more than twice as many people surveyed – some 42 per cent - said they wanted powers returned to their national parliaments as said they wanted powers transferred to Brussels.

“As the British head to the polls, just 6% of the public in the UK wants such an outcome. And only 8% of Greeks favour more power for the EU. The strongest backing for an ever closer Europe is only 34% -- in France,” they added.

'Much of the disaffection with the EU among Europeans can be attributed to Brussels' handling of the refugee issue, said Pew. 'In every country surveyed, overwhelming majorities disapprove of how Brussels has dealt with the problem.' This was especially true in Greece, which had been overwhelmed by migrants crossing the Aegean Sea from Turkey. Some 94 percent of Greeks believed the EU has mishandled the refugee crisis. In Sweden it was 88 percent, in Italy 77 percent and in Spain 75 percent.

Worse still for peecee globalizers, the Tories’ favorite pollster predicted (7 vi) that Britain would vote to leave the European Union. Lord Hayward, one of the few election experts who had predicted a Conservative majority at the UK general election in 2015,  said that, unless something "substantial" changed, the "balance of probability" was that the nation would vote to LEAVE on June 23rd. The news from the respected analyst came as a blow to Downing Street in the final two weeks of referendum campaigning"

Amid the week-long multiculti mourning – especially on the BBC -- for boxing legend Cassius Clay, ex-Mirror editor Piers Morgan, alone among commentators, supplied frank detail of Ali’s racism of the 1960s. Not only were White males (“rattlesnakes”) to be killed, but also any Black females who “messed” (had sex) with them. Perhaps unsurprisingly, loose-talking Ali and Donald Trump were friends for decades, with Trump calling Ali “the greatest supericon of my life” and Ali attending one of Trump’s weddings.

Just three days after being denounced by the Archbishop of Canterbury for mentioning that Syrian ‘refugees’, invited by Daft Dave, might prove as sexually predatory in Britain as they had in Cologne at New Year, UKIP hero Nigel Farage had the satisfaction of Newcastle police charging four Syrian young men (one arrived in Britain only a month previously) with sexually assaulting two 14-yr-old girls at the central St James’ Park – just a stone’s throw from Newcastle United’s soccer stadium (Daily Mail, 11 vi).

After Britain’s only well-known and -loved politician, Boris ‘BoJo’ Johnson (Eton scholar and Balliol First), pointed to the thread of German domination in the history of Europe – domination involving Charlemagne [of Aachen, subsequently the coronation place of German kings, and still today in Germany], the Hapsburg family and the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation [as German schoolchildren were still taught to call it] -- he was condemned as ‘ahistorical’ by the likes of Labour leader-in-waiting Hilary Benn and Thatcher-traitor Lord Michael Heseltine.

But was it wrong to say Hitler had pursued – if over-adventurously and belatedly in Russia (and without first subduing Britain ) – ancient traditions of German imperialism? What did Hitler himself say? Wikipedia:

"Despite his personal animosity toward [Kaiser] Wilhelm II, Hitler wanted to bring his body back to Berlin [in 1941, from Kaiser Bill’s Dutch refuge] for a state funeral, as Wilhelm was a symbol of Germany and Germans during the previous World War. Hitler felt that such a funeral would demonstrate to the Germans the direct descent of the Third Reich from the old German Empire"

Astonishingly, Mad Mutti Merkel troubled herself to reply to BoJo’s observations: the UK  ‘BREXIT?’ referendum was “completely unnecessary,” said the fat and frumpy Fuehrerin – her authoritarian interventionism being specially remarked in the Telegraph (4 vi) by Simon Heffer, one of Britain’s top twenty intellectuals who were Brexiters/LEAVErs.

Europe faced a "populist uprising" if it were unable to show people it could control the migrant crisis, said former MI6 head Sir Richard Dearlove. He was speaking on the BBC's ‘World on the Move’ day on migration issues. Sir Richard also warned against offering visa-free travel to Turkish nationals, describing the move as “like storing gasoline near a fire”(BBC, 16 v). He wanted a Marshall Plan for north-east Africa, but insisted that the West would need to control the north African coastline “more aggressively” than hitherto.

Commenting on the death of  ‘Mehemet Ali’ (Cassius Clay) at 74, US Republicans’ presidential candidate, ‘racist misogynist homophobe and Islamophobe’ Donald Trump, declared the sensational Olympian heavyweight pugilist to have been “a truly great champion” (BBC R4, 5 vi, 08:00).

In such magnanimity to the mainly-Black high school dropout and draft dodger who had joined Nation of Islam before succumbing to the Parkinsonism which marred his last thirty-two years, Trump showed himself perfectly capable of sweet reason about Muslims – in contrast with the purblind prejudice that he was widely assumed to be afflicted by the Ali-infatuated hysterics of MSM who themselves readily accepted the deceased as having been the wonder of the 20th century and a virtual saint despite his having supported complete racial segregation of Blacks and Whites and condemned as an ‘Uncle Tom’ a fellow Black boxing star who favoured race mixing.

Pressured by his managers, Ali had by the 1980s agreed to suppress his ultra-apartheid preference for Blacks and Whites to live in separate countries, and publicly adopted the incoming dogmas of multiculturalism and integration; but he always maintained that Whites would not really want integration since they would not want Blacks ‘integrating’ with their women; and he further exemplified negritude by his loudmouthed conceitedness, his rampant philandering and by endless battles with his four wives and children who, at his death, had lawyers ready to contest his will – very necessary for multimilliionaire Ali’s eldest son who lived on the breadline with his grandmother in downtown Chicago.

Meanwhile, the cautious, bookish and kindly Lord Chancellor Michael ‘The Gofer’ Gove (the Edinburgh-born adopted son of an Aberdeen fish processor) came to the fore arguing with Jeeves-like comprehension, patience and tact as the increasingly nationalist LEAVE campaign moved into a poll lead (in the UK’s referendum about membership of EUSSR) despite MG being called on Sky TV (3 vi) – by Bengal-originated political editor Faisal Islam – “an Oxbridge Trump.”

As MG won over his studio audience – after an alarming start dismissing ‘economists’ altogether – it was evident that the Trumpian qualities of good-humoured frankness and intelligence were rather appreciated by the public when they managed to peek through the peecee shroud unfailingly provided (at taxpayer expense) by MSM.
