TERRORIST KILLED – EVENTUALLY
After seven years of multi-million-dollar trials, appeals etc., America – a country having 5% of the world’s people and 66% of its lawyers (these minority-venerating ‘human rights’ spivs and cultural communists being especially over-represented in the Democrat Party [e.g. the Clintons and Obama – cf. Britain’s Blairs]) – got around to executing terry-towel-haired race supremacist John Allen Muhammad, 48, the sniper who had terrorised Washington by random shootings [murdering ten] in 2002 (Guardian, 11 xi), said by co-accused to have wanted to extort money to set up a terrorist training camp in Canada.
At the same time, ‘human rights’-mad America announced it might think of getting round to putting on public trial a repulsive-looking, fat and hairy mad Muesli and several pals for the 3000 deaths of ‘9/11/2001’ which the accused Mohammed had plotted in Afpak from 1996 (Sun, 13 xi)
PEECEE JUSTICE IS BLIND INDEED
As a 16-yr-old was ‘detained’ for (a mere) three years after abducting and raping a 5-yr-old (having previously been given a ‘community service order’ for raping a Manchester 7-yr-old) it turned out that MSM could not “for legal reasons” give his name, race, social class or educational level (Sun, 11 xi).
WHITE GUILT REIGNS SUPREME
Hilariously, the British Government decided to “apologize” for its predecessors having taken-into-care children of 1930-1970 to Oz (widely known at the time as ‘The Workers’ Paradise’) (BBC, 15 xi). Still more hilariously, the Australian Government apologized for its own predecessors’ part in accepting some half a million kids from their wet, smoggy and bankrupt homeland; and journalists did not even ask for proof that any general harm had resulted from the initiative (which had allowed Britain’s unwanted children to grow up on sun-kissed Australian farms with only the occasional episode of paedofumbling (nothing more than the average orphan would have experienced in scouting-mad Britain of those days).
Nor did the idiotic peecee Governments apparently appreciate that it was common practice in Britain of the 1930s to send uncared-for kids to the countryside as farm labour – e.g. orphans of Glasgow were often sent to new homes in the Western Isles. I myself, an adoptee from Preston, spent many happy childish hours tending – for the happy reward of a 4oz. bar of chocolate per week – the North London garden and allotment of the loving Anglican parents who had taken me in.
It remained to be seen whether the Adoptees of Oz would rise up against those who whinged on their behalf and say a decent thank you to those who had rescued them from having to grow up with single mothers in the likes of Barnsley and ‘Uddersfield.
BLACK TALENT ON DISPLAY
The first Miss England to be a Black (well, half-Black), leggy heptathlete Rachel Christie (niece of Black male athlete Linford Christie), put her other gifts on show as she brawled at a porn-themed Manchester nightclub party over her (hunky, Black) boyfriend with his previous (White) girlfriend, another beauty queen, Sara Jones, Miss Manchester, on whose face Rachel landed several punches (Daily Telegraph, 7 xi) after Sara (dressed as a cavegirl) relayed to Rachel by mobile phone an apparently admiring text message which Sara had received from her previous man.
{At least Rachel had the good grace to resign as Miss England once taken to police cells and given bail to begin the fight to clear her name – a model, as it were, to Britain’s disgraced politicians who had led the country to mass third-world immigration, national bankruptcy, two failed wars, loss of sovereignty [to Brussels] and educational idiocy and couldn’t fix within even a year the massive scandal of their own expenses [on ‘flipped’ second homes, duck houses, moats, meat pies, ginger crinkle biscuits etc.].}
Blacks at a wedding reception in Tampa, Florida, provided another talent parade as fighting broke out among some forty wedding guests (AmRen, 11 xi).
PAKISTAN IS TERROR HOME – MSM ADMITS
After a year of pussyfooting, peecee organs like the Sun (9 xi) and the BBC got round to admitting that Pakistan (not Afghanistan) was the main home of Al-Qaeda/Bin-Liner and in particular that there had been a new planned assault on New York that was detected by British intelligence services. Britain itself had taken in 1½M Pakistanis and their illiterate ‘arranged’ wives so it had long been deemed politic not to mention the mad Mueslis of Wazyurdrinkistan – though while the silence went on, the Muesli goons had probably spread themselves throughout the Punjab.
EYES WIDE SHUT
Showing how far the anti-racist peecee infection had spread in America, the Army and FBI announced they found Palestinian-parented, mosque-maniacal (though also pornshow-visiting), soldier-shooting psychiatrist Maj. Hasan (see previous), hailed as a “hero” by the Virginia imam who had preached to several of the 9/11 suicide bombers, to have no links to Muesli terror – but the tabloid New York Post begged to differ (10 xi), the New York Daily Post spoke of America’s “naivety” (10 xi) and the influential National Post suggested Hasan’s massacre might in reality be attributed to “hysterical institutional anti-racism” (10 xi). It transpired that Hasan’s colleagues and (especially) students had been discussing for at least 18 months whether he was psychotic (NPR, 11 xi).
EXPERT FREE SPEECH SUPPORTED
The Government’s ‘drugs czar’ who had been forced into resignation, Professor David Nutt (see previous), continued to draw support as UCL’s Professor Gurling explained that the slight link between schizophrenia and cannabis use could easily be due to schizoid tendencies making pot attractive to sufferers, as Even Harris MP (LibDem) urged Home Secretary ‘Postman Pat’ Johnson to improve his drugs committee’s contract with its scientists, and as three more members of the committee resigned (one a psychologist) – meaning that the committee had lost 40% of its scientific members (Guardian, 10 xi; Times, 10 xi). Mr Johnson said that a statement of principles on the independence of government science advice, proposed by more than 50 senior scientists, was being considered by the Prime Minister and the Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor John Beddington. Professor Nutt said of the resignations: “I’m not surprised. The way I have been treated was reprehensible, and I’m pleased to have the support of these other council members.”
The Indie’s Johann Hari set out the libertarian case in Huffington Post (10 xi) (adding to 1960s arguments the successful decriminalization of drug use in Portugal since 2001). Simon Barrow, co-director of the think-tank Ekklesia commented: “The outcome of a meeting described by the Government as ‘very constructive’ has been the resignation of another three scientific experts on the misuse of drugs. This aptly illustrates the air of unreality around current policy and its unease about evidence-based advice or comment.” However, the Daily Mail found a judge who believed in cannabis-induced psychosis (11 xi).
A charitable donor had offered to set up a drugs advisory committee independent of government, said Nutty (Public Service, 12 xi) – apparently content with this sideshow in the absence of wider protestations against Postman Pat and governmental suppression of expert free speech (inspired by the 12-year-old example set by Edinburgh LUniversity). – For a more robust approach to NuLabour censorship (sadly backed by tabloid-terrified ‘Tories’), Nutty needed to link up with the Guardian’s Deborah Orr (12 xi). (So spaced out was Nutty that (he admitted) in his eight years of service as chairman of ACDM, he had only met a Home Secretary once – and that was Postman Pat who summoned him to be reproved for his naughtiness. Far from being libertarian, Nutty was generally in favour of criminalization or at least restriction – especially of alcohol (Spiked, 12 xi).)
Not content with ‘exposing’ the spelling mistakes of PM Brown (yielding the most sympathetic press that half-blind Brown had had in years), the Sun decided to draw attention to the whacky websites of Nutty’s children – including a picture of a 26-year son ‘prancing NAKED in the snow in Sweden’, thought by the Sun likely to shock its readers to their cotton socks.

SLEDGEHAMMER TO A NUTT YIELDS TWINGES OF CONSCIENCE ABOUT FREE SPEECH
After four decades of the ‘anti-racist’ left (and cowardly ‘conservative’ dimwits) eroding freedom of speech in Britain (and more widely in the West), the case of top neuropharmacologist Professor David Nutt, MRCP MRCPsych FRCPsych FMedSci. being arm-twisted into retirement for insufficient hysteria about cannabis (see previous) brought belated squeaks from newly nostalgic liberals. The left-flagship Observer (1 xi) admitted the sacking was "another milestone in Britain's progression from a great Enlightenment country to a place where prejudice reigns."
After two days to consider the matter, six of the Government’s 31-strong (unpaid -- surprisingly) Advisory Committee on the Misuse of Drugs were said to be ready to back their Chairman by themselves resigning (Independent, 1 xi). Richard Garside, the director of the Centre for Crime and Justice at King's College London, accused Home Secretary Johnson of undermining scientific research, saying "I'm shocked and dismayed that [Johnson] appears to believe that political calculation trumps honest and informed scientific opinion."
The former home secretary, Charles Clarke, called for a major review of drugs policy and urged ministers not to "isolate themselves" from science, saying the work of the advisory council had always been "extremely valuable" when he was at the Home Office. The Galton Institute’s Lord Winston added his backing to Professor Nutt, noting that he was “very surprised and disappointed” that the Government had acted in a “knee jerk” fashion.
For the Spectator (1 xi), Alex Massie blamed “the increasinginly buffoonish Chris Grayling [Conservative Shadow Home Secretary for seeming] to have decided that his mission in politics is to prove that he can be every bit as moronically doctrinaire and authoritarian as his Labour counterparts.” Ian Stolerman, Emeritus Professor of Behavioural Pharmacology, Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, called on Alan Johnson to reinstate Professor Nutt. The Independent’s top columnist, Bruce Anderson, backed Nutt and made the wider point that “The right to free speech and free expression can never be taken for granted, especially under this government” (2 xi).
Dr Les King, a chemist of unsurpassed technical knowledge and Head of the Drugs Intelligence Unit in the Forensic Science Service, quit the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs and said the Home Secretary had denied the chairman’s right to free speech when sacking him (Times, 1 xi). Dr King disputed that Professor Nutt had somehow crossed what King called “the imaginary line between science and politics.” A member of ACMD since 2001, King said: “Amongst the [fifteen] scientists, I think a number will resign. It doesn't need the whole council to resign for the thing to stop working.”
King’s resignation was swiftly followed by that of Marion Walker, a pharmacologist who was also clinical director of Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's substance misuse service (Telegraph, 1 xi). Professor Nutt, who had four children of 18-26, said he believed the position of the council was thus “untenable”, adding “I can’t believe any self-respecting scientist would serve on it.” He accused politicians of wanting to engage in ‘posturing one-upmanship’ by parading as tough on hash.
However, HMG’s long-standing Chief Medical Officer for England, Sir Liam Donaldson, told BBC 1's Andrew Marr Show that rows between advisers and politicians were best kept behind closed doors: "I think to find yourself in a situation like this is very controversial. "These things are best sorted out behind the scenes so that the government and their advisers can go to the public with a united front." The Maudsley’s Professor Robin Murray said Nutty had underestimated the paranoid-inducing power of skunk (though Professor Hugh Girling, Molecular Psychiatry, UCL told the Indie, 2 xi, that in 35 years practice he had scarcely come across a case of ‘cannabis psychosis’ without their being a family history of schizophrenia); the Coventry Telegraph called Nutty “Professor Pillock” (2 xi). The Telegraph’s Daniel Hanan deplored kowtowing to ‘the experts of Britain’s left-dominated functionariat’ (2 xi). And Supreme Leader Brown threw his weight behind his Home Secretary Angry Alan. Correspondents of the Times were divided (3 xi).
{The first problem had really been that Nutt and his committee should never have attempted a unilinear ranking of the overall ‘harm’ caused by different drugs (which have such diverse properties as ‘killing a few people quickly’, ‘killing many people slowly’, ‘creating dependency’, ‘creating social disruption [incl. family breakup],’ ‘not killing users at all but just turning a very few of them paranoid’). The committee should surely have stuck to indicating the rather distinct dangers caused by different drugs and letting Johnson weight them as he would. (It was specially strange that Nutt did not adopt this multiple-factor approach since his own talk on TV was conducted in terms of the plural neologism “harms.”) The second problem was that uneducated Johnson himself, without his experts at a weekend, was quite incapable of making that argument; yet, instead of just shelving the matter with a word of genial thanks to Nutt, he wanted revenge for Nutt’s public insistence that cannabis be reclassified as a mere Class C drug (as it had been under Rev. Bliar, contrary to Supreme Leader Brown’s own tabloid-acceptant illiberalism.}
TRUTH vs POWER SPLIT REACHES CABINET
Furious Science Minister Lord Grayson denounced Postman Pat Johnson to the Prime Minister, said the Sun (3 xi), complaining he had not been consulted before the know-nothing Home Secretary had sacked one of Britain’s top scientists (Prof. Nutty – see previous). Liberal-leftist pressure on HMG continued as respected ex-Oxford parapsychologist Sue Blackmore denounced the sacking as “despicable” (Guardian, 3 xi). {In all this mayhem among Labourites, no-one outside this diary/blog recognized it was time for Nutty to be re-instated so long as he really did some ‘free speaking’ about exactly how his ‘evidence’ had been massaged to show alcohol was, on balance and in general, more “harmful” than pot. Following any such breakthrough, Richard Lynn, Phil Rushton and I could do some franker free speaking about the wastefulness of handouts to the low-IQ – especially if they had no religion to keep them in order.
GIRLS TRIM DOWN – DEFYING SOCIALISM
While Britain’s ageing fatties reached ever more obscene proportions (including a ‘food-addicted’ man of 70 stone who had to be taken to hospital by lorry) thanks to the ‘free at the point of use’ National ‘Health’ Service, Britain’s delicious young girls continued showing the respect for the Waist-Hip Ratio that had put them ahead of even science itself in the 1990s (Sun, 3 xi).
MULTICULTICRUNCH (aka Diversity Recession) UNDER STUDY
The intrepid and persistent Steve Sailer continued his battle (under FOIA procedures) to get figures from America’s Federal Reserve Banks of just what sums had vanished in minority foreclosures on mortgages -- eliciting in the process that, in California of 2004-6, 51% of mortgage lending had been to minorities, who (after adjustment for income) were almost three times as likely to default as Whites and so probably accounted for some 70% of all dollars lost in California (VDare, 1 xi).
FREEDOM FILCHED BY EUROFANATICS
As West- and Middle-European countries finally abandoned their sovereignty to Brussels (and its Lisbon Treaty), their wretched politicians were rapidly rewarded with what they craved in their egalitarian religious mania, a ban on all “offensive” speech critical of minorities and on all discriminatory practices (Brussels Journal, 26 x). Even Christian gatherings would be obliged to ensure double beds in all b&b’s for yags and adulterers, reminding everyone vividly of the freedom of choice that had been ended in Europe’s Muesli-importing slave labour state.
NUTT CASE SUPPORTED
Embattled outspeaker David Nutt (see previous) found his latter-day hippiedom supported as the Government’s own Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor John Beddington CMG [‘Call Me God’] FRS (Imperial College), got round to backing him about the low “harms” of cannabis (if not about his right to have a public spat with Home Secretaru Johnson); and a new study by Matthew Hickman, Reader in Public Health and Epidemiology at the University of Bristol, found that literally thousands of heavy-pot-using young people would have to stop smoking the drug to prevent even a single case of schizophrenia or psychosis — the Government’s main justification for reclassifying it as a ‘dangerous’ Class B drug (Times, 4 xi). Even the usually Labour-loyal Daily Mirror had its star columnist Kevin Maguire call the Home Secretary “Dopey Alan” and “Calamity Johnson” (4 xi). Best-known Scot-Nat Margo MacDonald also backed Nutty in the lib-left Edinburgh Evening News (4 xi). Nutty himself was allowed to explain in the soft-left Indie that his ACMD team had been “fatally flawed” and needed to be re-established with the same independence as the Bank of England. (4 xi).
(A Newcastle U. lecturer wrote to the Telegraph that the drug ecstasy could have bad effects if mixed with alcohol; but such division among experts served further to highlight Labour’s hopefully terminal idiocy in trying to punish even mere free speech by the highest-ranking scientists.)
That the fault line in the debate would split the right seemed clear as A. N. Wilson in the Daily Mail caricatured scientists as “arrogant gods of certainty”. Nutty gave as good as he got, accusing the Prime Minister of ‘putting public health at risk’ and of ‘making ridiculous statements’ (ABC News [Australia], 4 xi); and top Times columnist Simon Jenkins accused Brown of “political cowardice” (3 xi). The Independent’s Matthew Norman thought Johnson’s new authoritarianism (together with his apology for Labour’s mass immigration policy) a shameless power play, aimed at winning him the Labour leadership as Supreme Stalinist Brown crashed (5 xi).
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINISM SQUASHED
The Maudsley’s Emeritus Professor Sir Michael Rutter, 70, went on Radio 4 (4 xi, 16:30) to explain the results of his long-term study of children who had suffered gross early deprivation in the ‘nurseries’ of Communist Romania (into which they had been abandoned because parents could not afford to look after them). Apparently, the first six months of deprivation had no serious effect once the children were rescued; children whose deprivation lasted longer had no mentionable general problems with intelligence or emotionality, but they were more likely to have special persistent problems such as autism and hyperactivity – especially if their wretched early diets had interfered with brain growth (as measured by head size). (More here; and NB that Prof Rutter was too polite to rub the noses of wild-eyed Rousseau-followers in his work.)
NUTT UPS THE ANTE
Far from contenting himself with defending free speech for top scientists, Prof. David Nutt came out in his true colours, demanding a tripling of alcohol prices (much as I had myself recommended in 1979 – Times, 19 xii 1979, ‘Alcoholism’; Sunday Independent [Dublin], c. 1 i 1980, ‘Sobering thought!’). Alcohol is the “gateway drug” that remains the greatest threat to society, and the Government’s failure to address the problem epitomises its disregard for scientific evidence, said Nutty to an audience at the Science Media Centre in London (Times, 5 xi). Professor Nutt said he felt that alcohol prices could be raised to triple the price at which some drinks were sold, with taxation the most obvious way of achieving this.
{Nutty did not apparently realize that low drink prices and high third-world immigration had become the politicians’ major techniques for making palatable the sheer boredom, irresponsibility, idiocy and criminality of Britain’s ‘welfare state’ over the previous fifty years. – It was in 1983 that Maggie had given up and said “the National Health Service is safe in our hands.” By November 2009, things had got so bad that Britain found itself sucked into a Brussels-dominated Europe and losing five soldiers in a day as they ‘trained’ Afghani policemen without the slightest conspicuous protest – not even a demand for the razing of mosques.}
The cross-party Parliamentary Committee for Science and Technology wrote to Johnson and other top brass to inquire what on earth was going on (Metro, 5 xi). However, in the House of Lords, skunk was blamed for some of the problems of their lordships’ younger family members.
IQ WINS AGAIN
The New Scientist carried an article burbling the usual half-arsed guff that ‘there must be something more than the g factor’ and purporting to find promise in the notion of ‘rational thinking’ – long known to fail in even quite bright people faced with counter-intuitive, logical or just plain tricky and unaccustomed tasks. Apparently:
As an illustration of how rational-thinking ability differs from intelligence, consider this puzzle: if it takes five machines 5 minutes to make five widgets, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets? Most people instinctively jump to the wrong answer that "feels" right - 100 - even if they later amend it. When Shane Frederick at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut, put this and two similarly counter-intuitive questions to about 3400 students at various colleges and universities in the US - Harvard and Princeton among them - only 17 per cent got all three right (see "Test your thinking"). A third of the students failed to give any correct answers (Journal of Economic Perspectives, vol 19, p 25).
Very interesting! So where was the test of ‘rational thinking’? Answer: there wasn’t one despite thirty years of effort by IQ-bashing cogniwallahs! (For five ability dimensions actually having passable measurability and independence of g, see Chapter 1 of The g Factor.)
SUPREME DENIAL: FORT HOOD ASSASSIN WAS PALESTINIAN BENEFICIARY OF ‘THE AMERICAN DREAM’
As US President Barry Hussein Obarmy went on air (5 xi, 10p.m., GMT) to deal with the killing of 13 soldiers and the injuring of 31 others at the world’s biggest military base, Fort Hood, Texas (home to 65K military personnel plus 80K dependents), he could not even bring his benighted self to consider that the killer (who had shouted “Allah Akbar” as he opened fire) might have been a Muesli – as indeed he was.
Never had the lies of the West’s politicians have been so dramatically exposed. The heavily-eyebrowed Malik Nadal Hasan was a single Army psychiatrist, a 39-year-old major, who had received ‘poor’ ratings before being sent to Texas. See here. He had apparently converted ‘late in life’ to Islam; but his parentage and racial origins could not be mentioned by the American media, nor by his ‘change you can believe in’ Black President who had bamboozled America and had never been recorded as using the word ‘terror.’ What Americans would make of this outrage was an interesting question – hopefully they would prove more robust than the moronic and cowardly politicians of Euroland.
Subsequently, Obarmy called the Muesli outrage merely “a horrific outburst of violence” – as if it were a tropical storm or epileptic fit rather than mass murder stemming from Islamic ideology and intended to assert dominance and lead via terror to tyranny.
Hasan had attended high school in Roanoke, Virginia, studied biochemistry at Virginia Tech, played sports, hadn’t got into any trouble, and appeared to be a normal, well-adjusted individual, said a cousin, Nader Hasan. Major Hasan had been a psychiatry resident at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington and was apparently working at Fort Hood during the pre-deployment process for soldiers headed to Iraq and Afghanistan. The guns he used in his massacre were not of standard Army issue – so he had smuggled them into Fort Hood.
Hasan had been a studious child of comfortably-off Arab parents who ran down-market restaurants and groceries. His father had arrived in the USA at age 16 from Palestine; he died in 1998 and his wife, Hasan’s mother, died three years later (Raonoke Times, 6 xi; PilotOnline.com, 6 xi). After these deaths, most of the rest of the Hasan family relocated to Palestine.
{How a quiet and probably mixed-up homosexual/misogynist Muslim who was not a fighter even as a child, opposed the War on Terror, devoutedly attended mosques in his Army uniform, did not get on well with his patients and praised suicide bombing openly on the internet could have been promoted to being an Army major psychiatrist beggared belief – though such official hysterical ‘denial’ was in line with the general reluctance of Western peecee politicians and MSM to admit that human individual and group differences were of the slightest importance.
Just as PeeCee-propagandized Brits had thought they could ‘train’ rag-taggle Afghanis taken without selection off the street to be ‘policemen’ – yielding five dead British soldiers in one day in early November – so the Americans thought a weirdo like Hasan would be just fine as an Army psychiatrist so long has he was given a medical degree (from an Army ‘university’) and put in uniform. Talk about ‘the lunatics running the asylum’!
This analysis was similarly volunteered by Jeff Crouere (BayouBuzz.com [Louisiana], 6 xi) who added that Hasan was seen in full Muslim regalia in a supermarket just hours before the massacre and that his anti-War-on-Terror views had been well known for at least six months to Army colleagues. Meanwhile, 24 hours after the shooting President Barry and his Barmy Army were still professing themselves puzzled at Hasan’s motivation and insisting that “speculation” should wait upon the initiation, process and conclusion of “investigations.”}
POLITICIAN BACKS EUGENICS
Asked to comment on the death of two-year-old New Zealand boy Karl Perigo-Check, the son of a convicted murderer and notorious gang member, Michael Laws, the Mayor of the boy’s home town, Wangunni, enraged the local great and good by suggesting that paid sterilization of the “underclass” would help reduce such problems of child killing and abuse (Dominion Post [Wellington], 30 x).

The Galton Institute’s Lord Winston added his backing to Professor Nutt, noting that he was “very surprised and disappointed” that the Government had acted in a “knee jerk” fashion.
For the Spectator (1 xi), Alex Massie blamed “the increasinginly buffoonish Chris Grayling [Conservative Shadow Home Secretary for seeming] to have decided that his mission in politics is to prove that he can be every bit as moronically doctrinaire and authoritarian as his Labour counterparts.” Ian Stolerman, Emeritus Professor of Behavioural Pharmacology, Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, called on Alan Johnson to reinstate Professor Nutt. The Independent’s top columnist, Bruce Anderson, backed Nutt and made the wider point that “The right to free speech and free expression can never be taken for granted, especially under this government” (2 xi).
Dr Les King, a chemist of unsurpassed technical knowledge and Head of the Drugs Intelligence Unit in the Forensic Science Service, quit the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs and said the Home Secretary had denied the chairman’s right to free speech when sacking him (Times, 1 xi). Dr King disputed that Professor Nutt had somehow crossed what King called “the imaginary line between science and politics.” A member of ACMD since 2001, King said: “Amongst the [fifteen] scientists, I think a number will resign. It doesn't need the whole council to resign for the thing to stop working.”
King’s resignation was swiftly followed by that of Marion Walker, a pharmacologist who was also clinical director of Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's substance misuse service (Telegraph, 1 xi). Professor Nutt, who had four children of 18-26, said he believed the position of the council was thus “untenable”, adding “I can’t believe any self-respecting scientist would serve on it.” He accused politicians of wanting to engage in ‘posturing one-upmanship’ by parading as tough on hash.
However, HMG’s long-standing Chief Medical Officer for England, Sir Liam Donaldson, told BBC 1's Andrew Marr Show that rows between advisers and politicians were best kept behind closed doors: "I think to find yourself in a situation like this is very controversial. "These things are best sorted out behind the scenes so that the government and their advisers can go to the public with a united front." The Maudsley’s Professor Robin Murray said Nutty had underestimated the paranoid-inducing power of skunk (though Professor Hugh Girling, Molecular Psychiatry, UCL told the Indie, 2 xi, that in 35 years practice he had scarcely come across a case of ‘cannabis psychosis’ without their being a family history of schizophrenia); the Coventry Telegraph called Nutty “Professor Pillock” (2 xi). The Telegraph’s Daniel Hanan deplored kowtowing to ‘the experts of Britain’s left-dominated functionariat’ (2 xi). And Supreme Leader Brown threw his weight behind his Home Secretary Angry Alan. Correspondents of the Times were divided (3 xi).
{The first problem had really been that Nutt and his committee should never have attempted a unilinear ranking of the overall ‘harm’ caused by different drugs (which have such diverse properties as ‘killing a few people quickly’, ‘killing many people slowly’, ‘creating dependency’, ‘creating social disruption [incl. family breakup],’ ‘not killing users at all but just turning a very few of them paranoid’). The committee should surely have stuck to indicating the rather distinct dangers caused by different drugs and letting Johnson weight them as he would. (It was specially strange that Nutt did not adopt this multiple-factor approach since his own talk on TV was conducted in terms of the plural neologism “harms.”) The second problem was that uneducated Johnson himself, without his experts at a weekend, was quite incapable of making that argument; yet, instead of just shelving the matter with a word of genial thanks to Nutt, he wanted revenge for Nutt’s public insistence that cannabis be reclassified as a mere Class C drug (as it had been under Rev. Bliar, contrary to Supreme Leader Brown’s own tabloid-acceptant illiberalism.}
TRUTH vs POWER SPLIT REACHES CABINET
Furious Science Minister Lord Grayson denounced Postman Pat Johnson to the Prime Minister, said the Sun (3 xi), complaining he had not been consulted before the know-nothing Home Secretary had sacked one of Britain’s top scientists (Prof. Nutty – see previous). Liberal-leftist pressure on HMG continued as respected ex-Oxford parapsychologist Sue Blackmore denounced the sacking as “despicable” (Guardian, 3 xi). {In all this mayhem among Labourites, no-one outside this diary/blog recognized it was time for Nutty to be re-instated so long as he really did some ‘free speaking’ about exactly how his ‘evidence’ had been massaged to show alcohol was, on balance and in general, more “harmful” than pot. Following any such breakthrough, Richard Lynn, Phil Rushton and I could do some franker free speaking about the wastefulness of handouts to the low-IQ – especially if they had no religion to keep them in order.

The intrepid and persistent Steve Sailer continued his battle (under FOIA procedures) to get figures from America’s Federal Reserve Banks of just what sums had vanished in minority foreclosures on mortgages -- eliciting in the process that, in California of 2004-6, 51% of mortgage lending had been to minorities, who (after adjustment for income) were almost three times as likely to default as Whites and so probably accounted for some 70% of all dollars lost in California (VDare, 1 xi).

Embattled outspeaker David Nutt (see previous) found his latter-day hippiedom supported as the Government’s own Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor John Beddington CMG [‘Call Me God’] FRS (Imperial College), got round to backing him about the low “harms” of cannabis (if not about his right to have a public spat with Home Secretaru Johnson); and a new study by Matthew Hickman, Reader in Public Health and Epidemiology at the University of Bristol, found that literally thousands of heavy-pot-using young people would have to stop smoking the drug to prevent even a single case of schizophrenia or psychosis — the Government’s main justification for reclassifying it as a ‘dangerous’ Class B drug (Times, 4 xi). Even the usually Labour-loyal Daily Mirror had its star columnist Kevin Maguire call the Home Secretary “Dopey Alan” and “Calamity Johnson” (4 xi). Best-known Scot-Nat Margo MacDonald also backed Nutty in the lib-left Edinburgh Evening News (4 xi). Nutty himself was allowed to explain in the soft-left Indie that his ACMD team had been “fatally flawed” and needed to be re-established with the same independence as the Bank of England. (4 xi).
(A Newcastle U. lecturer wrote to the Telegraph that the drug ecstasy could have bad effects if mixed with alcohol; but such division among experts served further to highlight Labour’s hopefully terminal idiocy in trying to punish even mere free speech by the highest-ranking scientists.)
That the fault line in the debate would split the right seemed clear as A. N. Wilson in the Daily Mail caricatured scientists as “arrogant gods of certainty”. Nutty gave as good as he got, accusing the Prime Minister of ‘putting public health at risk’ and of ‘making ridiculous statements’ (ABC News [Australia], 4 xi); and top Times columnist Simon Jenkins accused Brown of “political cowardice” (3 xi). The Independent’s Matthew Norman thought Johnson’s new authoritarianism (together with his apology for Labour’s mass immigration policy) a shameless power play, aimed at winning him the Labour leadership as Supreme Stalinist Brown crashed (5 xi).
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINISM SQUASHED
The Maudsley’s Emeritus Professor Sir Michael Rutter, 70, went on Radio 4 (4 xi, 16:30) to explain the results of his long-term study of children who had suffered gross early deprivation in the ‘nurseries’ of Communist Romania (into which they had been abandoned because parents could not afford to look after them). Apparently, the first six months of deprivation had no serious effect once the children were rescued; children whose deprivation lasted longer had no mentionable general problems with intelligence or emotionality, but they were more likely to have special persistent problems such as autism and hyperactivity – especially if their wretched early diets had interfered with brain growth (as measured by head size). (More here; and NB that Prof Rutter was too polite to rub the noses of wild-eyed Rousseau-followers in his work.)
NUTT UPS THE ANTE
Far from contenting himself with defending free speech for top scientists, Prof. David Nutt came out in his true colours, demanding a tripling of alcohol prices (much as I had myself recommended in 1979 – Times, 19 xii 1979, ‘Alcoholism’; Sunday Independent [Dublin], c. 1 i 1980, ‘Sobering thought!’). Alcohol is the “gateway drug” that remains the greatest threat to society, and the Government’s failure to address the problem epitomises its disregard for scientific evidence, said Nutty to an audience at the Science Media Centre in London (Times, 5 xi). Professor Nutt said he felt that alcohol prices could be raised to triple the price at which some drinks were sold, with taxation the most obvious way of achieving this.
{Nutty did not apparently realize that low drink prices and high third-world immigration had become the politicians’ major techniques for making palatable the sheer boredom, irresponsibility, idiocy and criminality of Britain’s ‘welfare state’ over the previous fifty years. – It was in 1983 that Maggie had given up and said “the National Health Service is safe in our hands.” By November 2009, things had got so bad that Britain found itself sucked into a Brussels-dominated Europe and losing five soldiers in a day as they ‘trained’ Afghani policemen without the slightest conspicuous protest – not even a demand for the razing of mosques.}
The cross-party Parliamentary Committee for Science and Technology wrote to Johnson and other top brass to inquire what on earth was going on (Metro, 5 xi). However, in the House of Lords, skunk was blamed for some of the problems of their lordships’ younger family members.
IQ WINS AGAIN
The New Scientist carried an article burbling the usual half-arsed guff that ‘there must be something more than the g factor’ and purporting to find promise in the notion of ‘rational thinking’ – long known to fail in even quite bright people faced with counter-intuitive, logical or just plain tricky and unaccustomed tasks. Apparently:
As an illustration of how rational-thinking ability differs from intelligence, consider this puzzle: if it takes five machines 5 minutes to make five widgets, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets? Most people instinctively jump to the wrong answer that "feels" right - 100 - even if they later amend it. When Shane Frederick at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut, put this and two similarly counter-intuitive questions to about 3400 students at various colleges and universities in the US - Harvard and Princeton among them - only 17 per cent got all three right (see "Test your thinking"). A third of the students failed to give any correct answers (Journal of Economic Perspectives, vol 19, p 25).
Very interesting! So where was the test of ‘rational thinking’? Answer: there wasn’t one despite thirty years of effort by IQ-bashing cogniwallahs! (For five ability dimensions actually having passable measurability and independence of g, see Chapter 1 of The g Factor.)
SUPREME DENIAL: FORT HOOD ASSASSIN WAS PALESTINIAN BENEFICIARY OF ‘THE AMERICAN DREAM’
As US President Barry Hussein Obarmy went on air (5 xi, 10p.m., GMT) to deal with the killing of 13 soldiers and the injuring of 31 others at the world’s biggest military base, Fort Hood, Texas (home to 65K military personnel plus 80K dependents), he could not even bring his benighted self to consider that the killer (who had shouted “Allah Akbar” as he opened fire) might have been a Muesli – as indeed he was.
Never had the lies of the West’s politicians have been so dramatically exposed. The heavily-eyebrowed Malik Nadal Hasan was a single Army psychiatrist, a 39-year-old major, who had received ‘poor’ ratings before being sent to Texas. See here. He had apparently converted ‘late in life’ to Islam; but his parentage and racial origins could not be mentioned by the American media, nor by his ‘change you can believe in’ Black President who had bamboozled America and had never been recorded as using the word ‘terror.’ What Americans would make of this outrage was an interesting question – hopefully they would prove more robust than the moronic and cowardly politicians of Euroland.
Subsequently, Obarmy called the Muesli outrage merely “a horrific outburst of violence” – as if it were a tropical storm or epileptic fit rather than mass murder stemming from Islamic ideology and intended to assert dominance and lead via terror to tyranny.
Hasan had attended high school in Roanoke, Virginia, studied biochemistry at Virginia Tech, played sports, hadn’t got into any trouble, and appeared to be a normal, well-adjusted individual, said a cousin, Nader Hasan. Major Hasan had been a psychiatry resident at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington and was apparently working at Fort Hood during the pre-deployment process for soldiers headed to Iraq and Afghanistan. The guns he used in his massacre were not of standard Army issue – so he had smuggled them into Fort Hood.
Hasan had been a studious child of comfortably-off Arab parents who ran down-market restaurants and groceries. His father had arrived in the USA at age 16 from Palestine; he died in 1998 and his wife, Hasan’s mother, died three years later (Raonoke Times, 6 xi; PilotOnline.com, 6 xi). After these deaths, most of the rest of the Hasan family relocated to Palestine.
{How a quiet and probably mixed-up homosexual/misogynist Muslim who was not a fighter even as a child, opposed the War on Terror, devoutedly attended mosques in his Army uniform, did not get on well with his patients and praised suicide bombing openly on the internet could have been promoted to being an Army major psychiatrist beggared belief – though such official hysterical ‘denial’ was in line with the general reluctance of Western peecee politicians and MSM to admit that human individual and group differences were of the slightest importance.
Just as PeeCee-propagandized Brits had thought they could ‘train’ rag-taggle Afghanis taken without selection off the street to be ‘policemen’ – yielding five dead British soldiers in one day in early November – so the Americans thought a weirdo like Hasan would be just fine as an Army psychiatrist so long has he was given a medical degree (from an Army ‘university’) and put in uniform. It was not the first time Nutt's comments on drugs and the censorious Grumpy Gordon Brown had hit the headlines -- earlier in 2009, Nutt had said taking ecstasy (12 deaths p.a.) was no more dangerous than riding a horse (30 deaths p.a.).

As the High Court in Edinburgh dispatched Scotland’s largest-ever ‘paedophile ring’ to many years in jail, it turned out that at least one of them, David Rennie, was homosexual – indeed a ‘LGBT’ executive (The Herald, 29 x), giving a bad blow to the usual yag protestations that homosexuality had no serious overlap with paedophilia, protestations that had led the public to prosecute paeds maximally while leaving yags off the hook.
ETHIOPIA REALISM
As Ethiopia moved into its second major famine in 26 years, it turned out that the intervening 25 years since the previous massive Western famine relief effort had been used to more than double the country’s population from 34M to at least 72M, prompting brave Irish Independent columnist Kevin Myers to remark (30 x), “This is stupidity on an epic scale, for which only Ethiopia is answerable” – though IQ and the work of Richard Lynn were not expressly mentioned since Myers had already had the Eirish Gardai (police) at his door for his previous realism about Africa.
‘DIVERSITY’ DAMAGES
The excellent (if not markedly freedom-asserting) National Policy Institute (founded in 2005 to challenge the Southern Poverty Law Centre and headed by the likes of Louis Andrews, Kevin Lamb and Kevin Macdonald) came up with a study estimating the cost of ‘diversity’ to America in trillions of dollars (30 x).
‘FERAL’ DETROIT CREATED BY BLACKS AND IRISH
As Detroit’s population fell by 50% to yield hundreds of thousands of deserted buildings among its 1M remaining Black residents and crime and filth everywhere, two economists reckoned the once-thriving car city’s problems were self-inflicted (City Journal, Autumn 2009): “Though some blame Detroit’s population losses on larger economic forces, economists Edward Glaeser and Andrei Shleifer argue in a groundbreaking paper that the city’s problems are mostly self-inflicted. (The paper, called “The Curley Effect,” gets its name from legendary Boston mayor James Curley, who favored Irish residents and pushed other groups out.) After winning election in 1973, Detroit’s first black mayor, Coleman Young, consolidated his power, driving white residents, who had voted against him, out of the city by withdrawing services from their neighborhoods. NULABOUR TAKES ON SCIENCE
Upset by scientific advice that cannabis (3M regular UK users) was on average less harmful than alcohol (30M regular users), dimwit British politico ‘Postman Pat’ Johnson – instead of just shelving the advice with thanks -- demanded the resignation of his leading drugs adviser at the Home Office, Professor David Nutt (Imperial College) (RecentNews, 30 x) – possibly triggering further resignations and even a wider debate about why the government did not respect scientists’ conclusions about the g factor, streaming, race and the inadvisability of pouring good money after bad into Africa. Unlike Richard Lynn and myself, Professor Nutt promptly received the support of the Guardian, the Liberal Party, Facebookers and fellow professors Maurice Elphick (Queen Mary College, London) (Reuters, 31 x), Sir Leszek Borysiewicz (chief executive of the Medical Research Council), and Colin Blakemore (former MRC head, Oxford University) – but not of Peter Hitchens (Daily Mail, 31 x) or the Conservative Party which evidently wished to continue the lucrative taxation of best-selling drugs and the savage crackdowns on ‘illegal substances’ beloved of tabloid newspapers and felt Nutt had ‘strayed too far into politics.’ Nutt soon added fuel to the flames by calling the Cabinet “a bunch of irrational Luddites” (Times, 31 x). It was not the first time Nutt's comments on drugs and the censorious Grumpy Gordon Brown had hit the headlines -- earlier in 2009, Nutt had said taking ecstasy (12 deaths p.a.) was no more dangerous than riding a horse (30 deaths p.a.).

Using a new index of national “well-being” (including income, self-reported happiness, domestic security, stability of marriage freedom and educational level), the Legatum Institute made Finland the world’s top country (among the 104 having adequate data), with the USA coming in at ninth position and the UK at merely twelfth (thanks to the dismal educational arrangements of the ‘comprehensive schools’ and to over-regulation). Brave Kevin Myers of the Irish Independent (20 x) became the only columnist in the British Isles willing to defend ‘homophobic’ Jan Moir, the Daily Mail columniste who had sparked outrage (e.g. 22,000 homosexualist-orchestrated emails to the Press Council) with her straightforward observation that the death of healthy 33-year-old ‘Boyzone’ popsinger Stephen Gately from ‘fluid on the lungs’ alongside a total stranger from Bulgaria (with whom he’d taken cannabis before they hit the sack in the same flat as his ‘civil partner’) might have had something to do with his yag lifestyle.

As the British National Party approached its date with destiny – the BBC having decided to allow BNP leader Nick Griffin MEP on ‘Question Time’ in deference to the party having pulled in a million votes in the 2009 Euroelections – hysteria mounted among lefties seeking as ever to shut down free speech (like ground-glass-spreading anti-apartheid activist, former Labour Minister Peter Hain [founder of Anti-Nazi League; once called the “wife” of gay activist Peter Tatchell; resigned from the Bliar Cabinet for failing to declare donors to his deputy-Labour-leadership campaign]). However, the BNP’s website had fun at the expense of NG’s co-panelists ‘slimy’ Jack Straw [Lab], ‘useless’ Baroness Warsi [Con] and Chris Huhne [Lib], and ‘Black history fabricator’ Bonnie Greer [Black Monster Raving Loony Party] (Independent, 20 x); and a new leaking of the party’s membership list by its enemies revealed it had had no difficulty attracting subscriptions from doctors, professors and very senior army personnel.
Challenged by Army generals over linking the BNP to past images of British military and to Sir Winston Churchill, Nick Griffin came back quickly, saying many soldiers backed the BNP, comparing the generals to “Nazi war criminals” who should be hanged (for their efforts in the “illegal” Iraq war) and observing that, given Churchill’s views on keeping Britain and the Commonwealth separate from any United States of Europe, on the dangers of fundamentalist Islam and on 1950s immigrants ‘only coming for our benefits system’, the only party Churchill could have joined in 2009 would have been the BNP. The BNP’s David Morris (e.g. 24 x) came up with Cabinet and biographical records showing Churchill had actually recommended the slogan “Keep England White” for the Conservative Party in 1955. {To which NG might have added that Churchill – though certainly a man of the Empire rather than a strict nationalist, let alone fascist – was both a race realist and a keen eugenicist.}
Backtracking from its modest bravery in inviting Griffin on to ‘Question Time’ despite a threatened legal challenge from glass-strewer Hain, the BBC let out that it would pre-record the QT programme, giving its editors hours in which to edit out episodes of left-wing beastliness and any good jokes by NG (Guardian, 20 x).
With respect to the appearance of Ms Greer, a Black Chicago woman who had taken British citizenship, Mr Griffin said: “I think she is quite witty, I have seen her on ‘Question Time’ a number of times. She is a bit whacky when she says that Europeans throughout the Middle Ages worshipped Black women so she has got quirky aspect;s but the British like an eccentric so I’m sure we’ll get on all right.”
Most newspapers, after two decades of grovelling to PeeCee (almost never mentioning the racial origins of the many ‘ethnic minority’ murderers, rapists and robbers whose crimes they minimally reported), concluded it was marginally proper to debate with the BNP – and that Britain’s naughty political parties were remiss for not having done so. {Thus did Britain’s pathetic press prepare itself for the inevitable around-turn – though in fact it was the press which had bullied the Conservatives out of ‘racism’ c. 2000.}
Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy [Lab.] admitted that the BNP had pulled in 29,000 votes in 2009, a tenfold increase on 1999 despite Scotland having its own ‘National’ Party (with as much absurd commitment to socialism as Labour and the BNP).
Prior to the debate, the BNP found that the BBC could not (or would not) accept NG being winched in by helicopter to its west London studios – to bypass the howling mobs of ‘Unite Against Fascism’ (formerly ‘Anti-Nazi League’ – my own main opponent in 1996/7) and its ultraviolent wing, ‘Antifa’ (for its imprisoned ‘martyrs’ see http://www.antifa.org.uk/pris.htm). NG feared he would be assassinated on his way in to QT (InTheNews, 22 x) – though he jokingly thanked “Auntie” BBC for giving the BNP its first-ever opportunity to score before a mass audience.
Partly thanks to police incompetence, some 25 UAF demonstrators from a poorly-handled crowd of 500 managed to break into the reception area at Television House; and only six arrests were made despite three police being injured.
Finally, NG managed to enter the BBC building by a side entrance and the show went ahead – due for broadcasting three hours later. So the big question was whether he would get the BNP a poll boost, and if so from where.
{The BNP was committed to continuance of the welfare state; it backed ‘British jobs for British workers’ (a slogan that had also been used by Prime Minister Brown, but was known to all non-tabloid readers be unrealizable without a British withdrawal from the European Union that would be massively opposed by both businessmen, politicians and those grateful for the lack of West-European wars in recent times); it had no clear policy on how to ‘voluntarily repatriate’ immigrants (many of them, especially those of Caribbean and Pakistani stock, already having British citizenship, along with their children); and, though firmly anti-Islam in recent years, it nevertheless wanted to pull out of the war in Afghanistan. This collection of policies/pipedreams looked best set to appeal to old, White, ‘working class’ Labour voters; but the lowbrow tabloids the Mirror and the Sun were already committed to the Labour and Conservative parties respectively; so everything depended on the smaller and righter-wing Mail and Express – both of whose cowardly journalists had scrupulously followed peecee injunctions (e.g. about not mentioning the racial origins of criminals) for 15 years. Sensationally, on the programme, according to an early insider report, NG compared British Whites to “aborigines”: he meant thereby to claim the same sympathy for native Brits as the Guardian would normally claim for aborigines in Australia, PNG, Bongo Bongo etc; but whether his analogy would appeal to the average middle-aged soccer-fan remained to be seen.}
The debate itself turned out to be something of a fiasco in that the BBC chose to broadcast bits of the debate in advance (in its news items) and turned out to have assembled not only four hostile-to-NG panellists and a hostile Dimblebore chairperson but also a 99% hostile audience. NG kept his cool and smiled a lot and affected to applaud Bonnie Greer; but it is hard to appear ‘normal’ when being booed and shouted down at every opportunity. However, though NG got off to a shaky start by not dealing straightforwardly with accusations of his racist, Hitlerite, KKK and Holocaust-denying past (he should at least have set out the youthful Communism of many Labourites), he recovered well and provided several impressive mini-expositions of the BNP’s regarding PeeCee Multiculturalism as a traitorous “genocide” of Britain’s indigenous peoples (he preferred not to say Whites).
He did not lose, even in such a hostile environment; so the result was surely a points WIN for race realism – even though the Mail and Express did not come round (indeed, portraying NG as a ‘nutter,’ ‘devil’ and ‘sewer rat’). The result was considered a DRAW by the Times’ top political correspondent, Sam Coates (23 x). The Wall Street Journal’s Ian Martin put it well (22 x): “[BNP sympathizers] saw Griffin being beaten up by a West London audience and a panel all agreeing on how awful he is. But that won’t have dealt with their feelings of alienation. Many will still feel the mainstream parties don’t understand them.”
For the Daily Telegraph, columnist George Pitcher likewise thought the BNP probably benefited from the rigged ‘humiliation of the fat boy’ (23 x). Even Jewish Europhile Labourite MP Denis McShane reckoned the score as “BNP 3 – BBC 0”; and it was good to see ‘Justice Secretary’ Jack Straw ashen faced as NG pointed out that whereas NG’s own father had been in the RAF and fought Nazism in WWII, JS’s own father, though equally in the RAF, had had to be imprisoned for refusing to fight {presumably during the period of the Nazi-Soviet Pact}.
The show had been watched by an incredible eight million people (50% of Britain’s TV-viewing audience around 11pm, having a dozen main channels to chose from), up with ‘East Enders’ and ‘Coronation Street’ and ahead of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’– the normal viewing figure for QT being around three million (BroadcastNow, 23 x). Equally notably, the left had failed to produce the ‘thousands’ of demonstrators in Shepherds Bush that had been widely predicted: only mere hundreds turned up, most papers agreed, despite the protest being graced by such luminary lefties as ‘Red’ Ken Livingstone, the former Mayor of London. (In line with the treachery of Britain’s ‘right’-wing newspapers, the fullest account of the debate was provided in the Guardian, 23 x, whose Aditya Chakrabortty noted the BBC’s failure to supply any robust working-class opposition to NG, 23 x. For the Specfator’s ‘Coffee House,’ NG’s fundamentally British lack of fascist charisma was cannily noted by Lloyd Evans, 23 x. But neither the paparazzi intellectuals of the left or right could explain how NG was fundamentally hamstrung: by his unwillingness to mention IQ -- which was probably lacking as much in the BNP’s own membership as among blade-flashing, drug-dealing welfare-dependent Blacks and frothing, suicide-bombing, wife-beating Muesli psychotics.)
By the evening of 23 x, Sky News was quoting a post-debate YouGov poll as finding (from a sample of 1,600 voters) 12% ‘completely’ supported the BNP and that altogether 22% would ‘seriously consider’ voting for the party (far ahead of the 5% that actually voted for it at the Euroelections, and likely to increase fast as neighbours and workmates announced their thinking and created a new atmosphere far from that of Westminster hysteria). The attempt to ‘lynch’ NG had plainly failed. Fat Black Labour leftie Diane Abbott (herself a regular genial TV performer, under the chairmanship of Andrew Neil) put it well (Independent, 24 x): “It does not matter that Griffin gave a poor performance. No matter that London-based middle-class journalists competed to denounce him in the newspapers the morning after. What people will remember was that last Thursday was indeed "BNP day" and the party and its views were somehow accepted into the mainstream.”
The nearest any British journalist got to giving NG a helping hand was (ex-Conservative Central Office) Amanda Platell (Daily Mail, 24 x): “Ken Livingstone is outraged that a bigot like Nick Griffin was allowed to share a platform with mainstream politicians on Question Time. Yes, that'll be the same Ken Livingstone who shared a public platform with Gerry Adams when the IRA was actively carrying out terrorist atrocities. Hypocrisy? It's Ken's middle name.”
VISUAL AID FOR BNP
As Nick Griffin went into battle, British life supplied a tangible illustration of what anti-multiculturalists fought against: a Jobcentre advertisement for work at Supreme Nutrition Ltd in Acton, Suffolk, insisting that applicants speak Polish (Daily Telegraph, 23 x).
At the same time, in America, a Black woman, Megan Williams, admitted she had not been raped and made to drink urine and eat rats’ faeces by her boyfriend and six White friends – even though all the Whites had been jailed after ‘confessing’ rather than face the even-longer sentences they would have received under American ‘justice’ if they had not kowtowed to American pro-Black hysteria.

Most newspapers, after two decades of grovelling to PeeCee (almost never mentioning the racial origins of the many ‘ethnic minority’ murderers, rapists and robbers whose crimes they minimally reported), concluded it was marginally proper to debate with the BNP – and that Britain’s naughty political parties were remiss for not having done so. {Thus did Britain’s pathetic press prepare itself for the inevitable around-turn – though in fact it was the press which had bullied the Conservatives out of ‘racism’ c. 2000.}
Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy [Lab.] admitted that the BNP had pulled in 29,000 votes in 2009, a tenfold increase on 1999 despite Scotland having its own ‘National’ Party (with as much absurd commitment to socialism as Labour and the BNP).
Prior to the debate, the BNP found that the BBC could not (or would not) accept NG being winched in by helicopter to its west London studios – to bypass the howling mobs of ‘Unite Against Fascism’ (formerly ‘Anti-Nazi League’ – my own main opponent in 1996/7) and its ultraviolent wing, ‘Antifa’ (for its imprisoned ‘martyrs’ see http://www.antifa.org.uk/pris.htm). NG feared he would be assassinated on his way in to QT (InTheNews, 22 x) – though he jokingly thanked “Auntie” BBC for giving the BNP its first-ever opportunity to score before a mass audience.
Partly thanks to police incompetence, some 25 UAF demonstrators from a poorly-handled crowd of 500 managed to break into the reception area at Television House; and only six arrests were made despite three police being injured.
Finally, NG managed to enter the BBC building by a side entrance and the show went ahead – due for broadcasting three hours later. So the big question was whether he would get the BNP a poll boost, and if so from where.
{The BNP was committed to continuance of the welfare state; it backed ‘British jobs for British workers’ (a slogan that had also been used by Prime Minister Brown, but was known to all non-tabloid readers be unrealizable without a British withdrawal from the European Union that would be massively opposed by both businessmen, politicians and those grateful for the lack of West-European wars in recent times); it had no clear policy on how to ‘voluntarily repatriate’ immigrants (many of them, especially those of Caribbean and Pakistani stock, already having British citizenship, along with their children); and, though firmly anti-Islam in recent years, it nevertheless wanted to pull out of the war in Afghanistan. This collection of policies/pipedreams looked best set to appeal to old, White, ‘working class’ Labour voters; but the lowbrow tabloids the Mirror and the Sun were already committed to the Labour and Conservative parties respectively; so everything depended on the smaller and righter-wing Mail and Express – both of whose cowardly journalists had scrupulously followed peecee injunctions (e.g. about not mentioning the racial origins of criminals) for 15 years. Sensationally, on the programme, according to an early insider report, NG compared British Whites to “aborigines”: he meant thereby to claim the same sympathy for native Brits as the Guardian would normally claim for aborigines in Australia, PNG, Bongo Bongo etc; but whether his analogy would appeal to the average middle-aged soccer-fan remained to be seen.}
The debate itself turned out to be something of a fiasco in that the BBC chose to broadcast bits of the debate in advance (in its news items) and turned out to have assembled not only four hostile-to-NG panellists and a hostile Dimblebore chairperson but also a 99% hostile audience. NG kept his cool and smiled a lot and affected to applaud Bonnie Greer; but it is hard to appear ‘normal’ when being booed and shouted down at every opportunity. However, though NG got off to a shaky start by not dealing straightforwardly with accusations of his racist, Hitlerite, KKK and Holocaust-denying past (he should at least have set out the youthful Communism of many Labourites), he recovered well and provided several impressive mini-expositions of the BNP’s regarding PeeCee Multiculturalism as a traitorous “genocide” of Britain’s indigenous peoples (he preferred not to say Whites).
He did not lose, even in such a hostile environment; so the result was surely a points WIN for race realism – even though the Mail and Express did not come round (indeed, portraying NG as a ‘nutter,’ ‘devil’ and ‘sewer rat’). The result was considered a DRAW by the Times’ top political correspondent, Sam Coates (23 x). The Wall Street Journal’s Ian Martin put it well (22 x): “[BNP sympathizers] saw Griffin being beaten up by a West London audience and a panel all agreeing on how awful he is. But that won’t have dealt with their feelings of alienation. Many will still feel the mainstream parties don’t understand them.”
For the Daily Telegraph, columnist George Pitcher likewise thought the BNP probably benefited from the rigged ‘humiliation of the fat boy’ (23 x). Even Jewish Europhile Labourite MP Denis McShane reckoned the score as “BNP 3 – BBC 0”; and it was good to see ‘Justice Secretary’ Jack Straw ashen faced as NG pointed out that whereas NG’s own father had been in the RAF and fought Nazism in WWII, JS’s own father, though equally in the RAF, had had to be imprisoned for refusing to fight {presumably during the period of the Nazi-Soviet Pact}.
The show had been watched by an incredible eight million people (50% of Britain’s TV-viewing audience around 11pm, having a dozen main channels to chose from), up with ‘East Enders’ and ‘Coronation Street’ and ahead of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’– the normal viewing figure for QT being around three million (BroadcastNow, 23 x). Equally notably, the left had failed to produce the ‘thousands’ of demonstrators in Shepherds Bush that had been widely predicted: only mere hundreds turned up, most papers agreed, despite the protest being graced by such luminary lefties as ‘Red’ Ken Livingstone, the former Mayor of London. (In line with the treachery of Britain’s ‘right’-wing newspapers, the fullest account of the debate was provided in the Guardian, 23 x, whose Aditya Chakrabortty noted the BBC’s failure to supply any robust working-class opposition to NG, 23 x. For the Specfator’s ‘Coffee House,’ NG’s fundamentally British lack of fascist charisma was cannily noted by Lloyd Evans, 23 x. But neither the paparazzi intellectuals of the left or right could explain how NG was fundamentally hamstrung: by his unwillingness to mention IQ -- which was probably lacking as much in the BNP’s own membership as among blade-flashing, drug-dealing welfare-dependent Blacks and frothing, suicide-bombing, wife-beating Muesli psychotics.)
By the evening of 23 x, Sky News was quoting a post-debate YouGov poll as finding (from a sample of 1,600 voters) 12% ‘completely’ supported the BNP and that altogether 22% would ‘seriously consider’ voting for the party (far ahead of the 5% that actually voted for it at the Euroelections, and likely to increase fast as neighbours and workmates announced their thinking and created a new atmosphere far from that of Westminster hysteria). The attempt to ‘lynch’ NG had plainly failed. Fat Black Labour leftie Diane Abbott (herself a regular genial TV performer, under the chairmanship of Andrew Neil) put it well (Independent, 24 x): “It does not matter that Griffin gave a poor performance. No matter that London-based middle-class journalists competed to denounce him in the newspapers the morning after. What people will remember was that last Thursday was indeed "BNP day" and the party and its views were somehow accepted into the mainstream.”
The nearest any British journalist got to giving NG a helping hand was (ex-Conservative Central Office) Amanda Platell (Daily Mail, 24 x): “Ken Livingstone is outraged that a bigot like Nick Griffin was allowed to share a platform with mainstream politicians on Question Time. Yes, that'll be the same Ken Livingstone who shared a public platform with Gerry Adams when the IRA was actively carrying out terrorist atrocities. Hypocrisy? It's Ken's middle name.”
VISUAL AID FOR BNP
As Nick Griffin went into battle, British life supplied a tangible illustration of what anti-multiculturalists fought against: a Jobcentre advertisement for work at Supreme Nutrition Ltd in Acton, Suffolk, insisting that applicants speak Polish (Daily Telegraph, 23 x).
At the same time, in America, a Black woman, Megan Williams, admitted she had not been raped and made to drink urine and eat rats’ faeces by her boyfriend and six White friends – even though all the Whites had been jailed after ‘confessing’ rather than face the even-longer sentences they would have received under American ‘justice’ if they had not kowtowed to American pro-Black hysteria.

MUESLI ON MUESLI STUFF KICKS OFF IN PAK

While governments across the Stans quaked at the thought of what BinLiner and the Tallyhoes could do to them, help seemed at hand as China began its judicial disposal of 700 arrested Urumqi Muslim Uighurs by sentencing six of them to death – yielding Uighur “rage” that was promptly retailed by AlJazeera (13 x). At last the West too, which had proved itself politically incapable of fighting the Mueslis since New York’s 9/11, seemed likely to get some significant help – if at the price of letting China advance to the oilwells of the Caspian. In token of its expansionism, China increased its trade with Africa fourfold over 2004-8 and in particular struck a £4B deal for oil and minerals with dictatorial and druggy Guinea (Times, 13 x).

PAEDOHYSTERIC TURNED PAEDOPHILE
As obese (18-stone) mother of two daughters, Vanessa George, 39, was jailed for four years for taking obscene pictures of tots at her ‘Little Ted’ nursery in Plymouth (pictures sent to her would-be boyfriend, businessman and once-jailed pervert Colin Blanchard, 38), it was learned (from her irate husband) that George herself was an enthusiastic paedohysteric who would jump up and down when TV showed paedophiles, demanding castration for such monsters (News of the World, 4 x). Experts said 20% of Britain’s paedophiles were women (Observer, 4 x) – though what percentage were self-proclaimed paedohysterics was unknown.

As complaints were set out about Metropolitan Police violence to anti-G20 demonstrators outside the Bank of England, it turned out the (allegedly) most thuggish police sergeant, remarkably named Delroy Smellie (but called Tony by friends in the Met’s ‘elite’ ‘Territorial Support Group’), was Black – or at least half-Black (Daily Telegraph, 28 ix).
TOP LYING LABOUR LAWYERETTE WAS BLACK
As Her Venerated Multiculti Worshipfulness, ‘Attorney General’ Baroness Scotland was daily disrobed (e.g. in Daily Mail) as a lying b*stard who had employed on a sub-legal wage an illegal Tongan immigrant without inspecting -- or at least copying [fined £5K] -- her passport and without having her pay tax, it turned out that ‘Scotland’, though looking somewhat Asian, identified herself as Black, having been born in Dominica to parents of Antiguan and Dominican extraction (Wikipedia, 5 x).

When Asian females sent messages at a dating site to Black males, they received replies from 55% of the men; but when Black males wrote to Asian females, they were answered only 17% of the time. RACISM TO REIGN IN PARADISE
A Saudi cleric named Sheikh Muhammad al-Munajid promised on Saudi TV that “the virgins we Muslims will get in paradise will be White. If you blow yourself up in a martyrdom operation, you’ll be rewarded with 72 pure women, and not one of them will be Black or Indian, or even Arab or Iranian.” (National Post [Canada], 5 x.)
WHITER IS NICER
Levels of ‘human development’ as measured by the United Nations (using longevity, literacy and income) were overwhelmingly higher in White than in Black countries (ComcastNews, 5 x – giving the full table, based on 2007 figures). Amusingly, White superiority could not be attributed to colonialist rapacity, for the top five countries were Norway, Australia, Iceland, Canada and Éire. Japan made it into the top ten; but the United Kingdom (its schools wrecked by forty years of socialism/egalitarianism) could not even make it into the top twenty (though admittedly having Germany, Hong Kong and Singapore for company). All the bottom twenty countries, said by the U.N. to have “low human development” were African, with the exception of wartorn Afghanistan (where America and Britain had been vainly trying to provide democracy, wymmin’s lib, ‘reconstruction’ and eradication of the poppy crop since 2001, resulting in most intelligent young Afghani males becoming asylum seekers waiting at Calais for a chance to jump in the back of a lorry and thus get to Nirvana U.K.).
‘ENLIGHTENED’ FRANCE TO FACE PAEDOHYSTERIA
France, whose top philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre had had his ‘Antoine Roquentin,’ the 30-yr-old hero of his La Nausée, go to the defence of a harmless paedophile (bullied by a librarian), and whose film-makers had joined those of America and Poland in defending Roman Polanski against much-belated persecution for S.I. with a 13-year-old nude, druggy and sexually experienced ‘model’ girl, found its liberalism under attack from both right and left as its yag ‘culture minister’, Frédéric Mitterrand [see previous], who had also defended Polanski, was noticed to have once used with self-confessed excitement “boy” prostitutes in Thailand – though Mitterand insisted the “boys” were over whatever might have been the age of consent in the world’s capital of sex tourism (Guardian, 8 x).
The openly gay politician rejected calls from opposition parties for his resignation, saying his partners at Thai brothels were consenting adults. He said: "I absolutely condemn sexual tourism, which is shameful, and I condemn paedophilia, which I have never practised in any way whatsoever." In an emotional interview on France's most-watched news bulletin, Mr Mitterand accused his critics of jumping to false conclusions after reading his 2005 memoir The Bad Life, in which he wrote of liaisons with prostitutes whom he described as "young boys".
“I don’t see why he can’t stay in the government, and I don’t see why we dredge up such a pathetic polemic after such a long time,” Henri Guaino, adviser to President Sarkozy, said of Mitterrand on France 2 television. “Is he on trial, has he committed a crime?” Sarkozy himself, who had previously commended Mitterrand’s memoirs as courageous, backed his embattled minister; and Guiano added that the criticism of Mitterrand was “pathetic.”

How would Nobel Peace Prize Winner Barry Hussein Obarmy react to America's great ally, Pakiland, suffering >50 dead and >400 injured to the Taliban in a crowded Peshawar bazaar in a single morning, having evidently failed to give much effective help in the War on Terror (aka Tenth Crusade)? Peshawar, 100 miles from the purpose-built modern Paki capital Islamabad in north-western Pakistan, straddled the major American supply line for non-military supplies for its troops in Afghanistan. The Pakistani Army (chiefly bursting to fight against Hindu India, which backed the Afghan government and had seen two bombings of its Kabul embassy) had previously conducted three campaigns in the Tallywho/BinLiner-infested province of Wazyourdrinkistan, displacing millions of peasants and killing the occasional bullet-girded beardie (with the help of American drones), but to little serious effect. It was thought the Taliban had 10K fighters in north-west Pakiland, including a thousand Uzbeks; the Pakis had c. 30K troops in the area. Would the great Nobelist of Washington countenance a bit of military action on the ground at last -- as distinct from the inaction that had characterized the West's 'campaign' in Afghaniland for the previous eight years? ENVIRONMENTOBABBLERS FAZED
As the story of California’s own ‘Papa Fritzl’ (see previous) unfolded, it turned out that Papa Phillip Garrido, 58, had been able, in 2009, to take his (life-time-imprisoned) daughters by snatched Jaycee (see previous) to a party in a local home without evoking any more comment than that they seemed somewhat shy and “robotic” – there were no resulting calls to social workers, doctors, teachers, priests or police. Apparently Phillip had snatched Jaycee because his wife, Nancy, had proved infertile and both he and Nancy believed he should become a father (News of the World, 30 viii).
Jaycee, looking much younger than her actual years and described by Garrido as his ‘daughter Allissa,’ was sometimes seen by visitors to the Garrido household (e.g. clients and a probation officer), often messy with printers’ ink because she worked as an art designer for her captors (Guardian, 30 viii), but invariably polite, good-natured and indeed “sunny” in disposition. The home had hundreds of books (mainly thrillers and science fiction, by e.g. Isaac Azimov); and books were supplied to the captives (mainly about cats, e.g. by Desmond Morris).
The reunion between Jaycee and her original family went “very well,” said experts (New York Daily News, 31 viii). Garrido’s own father, 87, readily agreed with journalists that his son, who had presided for 18 years over this apparently happy scene, had probably murdered prostitutes and was a sex addict (like the merry Thailand-holidaying Fritzl). In his youth, Papa Garrido (whose wooden domestic ‘prison’ fence had several holes) had been a drug-taker and had suffered brain damage in a bike crash and was inclined to expose himself.

As it was, faced with Polish obstruction of the racial reunification of German people, Hitler made his infamous deal with Stalin and left Britain and France the miserable choice of honouring their promise to Poland while he invaded it (beginning with the bombardment of Polish positions around Danzig by the battleship Schleswig-Holstein).
